    Helping Out

Saw on local news that subway construction was hurting business so took the family here. Calamari for two was tender and delicately fried but really enough for five people. Pizza better than our Philly fave Tacconelli's. Waiters super attentive and cordial.

    Worth the walk

Excellent service, very good pizza, delicious crust and very fresh ingredients....because of the 2nd Ave construction, you have to know Nick's is there...

    Best Pizza Uptown...

I love Lombardi's pizza, and this is just as good (if not better). So when we moved uptown and my friend told me to try Nick's I was thrilled that our family had found a place uptown. We eat there once a week with the family (and if not in the restaurant, we deliver). The waiters are lovely. They are so friendly to our kids, they bend over backwards to make sure everything is ok. Delivery is as good as it can be (Any pizza delivered is never the same as eating when its hot out of the oven). I would also like to stress that beyond the pizza the food is fabulous. The veal parm is out of this world, and the orchiette with sausage is yummy. I can only imagine if the staff is rude, then the patron(s) must have been unbearable. It is such a fmaily friendly place and we love it.

    Nicks

I gave Nicks a try recently. Got delivery. One pie and stuffed mushrooms. Delivery took an hour, I wasnt suprised the pizza was frozen, the stuffed mushrooms were dried out and tiny. If I want it again, probly best to walk over there.

    Good Food, Good Value

We just moved to the area and have eaten in and had food delivered from Nick's. It is a great place for pizza and pasta (we love the Penne Vodka) and the family sized portions are great for sharing!

Nicks = Best pizza on the UES!

Nick's is by far the best pizza on the upper east side. It is definitely what you would call "New York" style and other pizza places don't even come close to matching it. The toppings are extremely fresh and the sauce is amazing. I highly recommend the spinach and garlic pizza...very delicious! Whenever I order delivery it always comes quickly and very hot. I LOVE NICK'S!

Best thin crust pizza in town!

I don't know what some of these negative reviews are all about. My family, friends and I all eat here regularly and we have had parties held here as well. If anyone calls this food expensive then they each must be eating for two- three people! The dishes are FAMILY style! The wait staff is friendly and professional. They know their stuff and are completely competent. The eggplant parm is fantastic; salads are great, pizzas, fried calamari and pastas; especially the linguine in clam sauce are all divine.
