this homemade Italian pizza is very tasty and good. Don't be fooled by the semi-outdated decor just try the food and you will be happy you did, they make many great Italian style dishes that taste just as fresh as they really are.

We ordered 1 large pizza and a mixed salad. Total: $37.00 The pizza dough was soggy and tasteless; the salad was greens and about three cherry tomatoes period. Very disappointing. Would not order again.

As a former Brooklynite, this is hands-down the best pizza on the UES barnone. Unfortunately they don't deliver into the 60s--please reconsider as there are no good pizza options in our nabe....Excellent Italian-made pizza. we tried another pizzeria on the UES that's affiliated with a famous one downtown. it was disappointing but Nicks' delivers in tasty, great homemade pizza. the cheese is above others too...keep it up

I have been going to this place for years. The normally extremely friendly owner must have been in a bad mood tonight. He totally ignored the tables and the waiters were non-existent. The chicken was over-cooked, of poor quality, and the pizza was without taste. Our entire party of 10 did not like it at all. The salad did not even taste fresh to me. I will not be coming back for a very long time, that is if they survive the second avenue subway. What a shame.

Excellent for the whole family! Big family size portions (smaller are available as well) of delicious salads such as the sublime caesar, great pastas and fabulous thin crust pizzas that won't break the bank. Friendly staff that try to appease everyones requests. Hopefully the mess of the outside second ave subway construction will not prevent people from finding this place.

We visit Nick's about three times a year and wouldn't consider having a pizza anywhere else in NYC. It's outstanding. The mozzarella is fantastic and the sauce to cheese ratio is right on. The crust is a perfect balance between crisp and chewy. Their salads are perfectly dressed. The meatballs are moist and flavorful. The service is consistently very good. We've never had to wait on a Sat night (which we always find surprising, given how good this place is). We just ate there this past weekend and miss it already!

The garlic bread on the oil before is pretty much the bomb.com. I am usually pretty good at resisting table bread...but this had me at hello. Besides that, the pizza is good. Very fresh and authentic. The staff is great and love to give recommendations. It'sa good thing they are kind of pricey...or else I would be fat...and broke...and would probably smell like garlic. Definitely check it out!
