Amazing Wings
Simply the best. They used to have a much better menu; now it's all about the wings. Delivery is erratic but worth going in for take out if you got the wing craving.

Disappointed
I've been a semi-regular patron of NGE for many years. Most of the food is (was) pretty good, and the wings have been my fav in NYC. But the food has been disappointing. I've ordered twice now and both times the food has been inedible. The Eddy Burger used to be a big juicy patty on a small soft bun with lots of grilled onions, mushrooms, and jalapenos. Now its a small, dry, overcooked patty on big stale roll and the jalapenos are missing from what little onion/mushroom detritus they caked on top. And this used to be one of my favorite burgers in the city. Both times the fries were overcooked, and one time the wings were wayyy overcooked and shriveled, and the next they were undercooked and gooey. So I'm depressed. Not sure I'm going to give them a 3rd chance to get back where they used to be.

Sports Bar w/ Hockey Puck Burgers.
Made from a frozen hockey puck style burger, it was reminiscent of my old public high school cafeteria hamburgers. For a bar with a 100 sqft mural of a hamburger in front, I was expecting better. At least the wings were good...

Not worth it
Service was subpar. Waitors were rude and unfriendly. Food was just ok but fries tasted fishy! Over priced menu for such a generic dive bar. Go somewhere else!

Great Wings!
I've been going to eddies for years and just went in this past sunday. The wings kick butt! They're better than any other place in the EV. All their food is good. The tap beer tastes good which means they maintain and clean the tap lines which is more than I can say for lots of places in the EV. Even though I hadn't been there for a while the bartender recognized me and made me feel right at home. That's another thing that is saddly missing from most of the bars in the EV. My advice? Go to Eddies.

wings are good but try......
the catfish fingers. I love the beer batter texture and the chipotle mayo that comes with it. Im not big into fish but for nice guy eddie catfish fingers I will make the trip from queens to eat them. I have never been dissapointed in anything ive tried there, but my favorite will always be the beer battered catfish fingers. try them!

Best Wings Anywhere
Okay, it's a sorta kinda dive-bar, little to no ambiance and primarily full of the very young sports fans in the neighborhood, but the wings here are without question the best in the city. Get a large plate of wings, add a Pabst Blue Ribbon and slum accordingly. Truly delicious, filling and cheap! I am officially a Nice Guy Eddie's Wing Addict and you will be, too!
