    Great flavor, great value

A Vietnamese friend introduced me to this restaurant, which was already a high mark in my book. I was not disappointed. The food is flavorful, abundant and quick. The atmosphere is unpretentious and friendly. You can't beat the value. My favorites are the beef cubes and the barbecue pork chops, I'm told they are traditional dishes. The soups are fabulous. Big bowls, overflowing with veggies. Good times.

    A great find

The soups are my favorite. So flavorful, but not overboard like many Asian places. Lots of good spices, cilantro, bean sprouts, peppers, garlic and good sauces with authentic flavor. Generous portions. Service is unpredictable, because they can get really busy. Atmosphere isn't the best, but it's like a typical Vietnamese restaurant, which is okay with me. Nothing fancy, which is good too because sometimes you want an easy and casual atmosphere with excellent food and no pretense. The spring rolls could be better. But the soups are very tasty and that's what makes me come back for more. Come hungry with friends!

    My favorite place

I am from saigon but my family is from da-nang and i have been going to nha trang since 1992-93. i am half black and half vietnamese... therefore, you know i know good food! ;o) the ingredients are so fresh that you can bite into something and between each bite and chew you can basically disect the food and know exactly what is in it... example ... bite chew... mint... bite chew... cilantro... bite chew garlic... bite chew... fish sauce... bite chew... onion... bite chew...yummmmy...lol you get my drift... everything is fresh... i used to have a problem w/ the noodle portion in my soup (beef satee egg w/ egg noonoo (noodle w/ vietnamese accent)lol but i started ordering BIH BOLE (big bowl lol) and the difference in price is a couple of cents... well i have my entire family hooked... both sides of my family...and when ever i go i pig out... i have tried everything... and the staff know me and my sister well...sometimes we dont even have to order... they know what i want most of the time... and they joke around w/ me alot b/c i understand vietnamese well but dont speak it ... they call me a vietnamese undercover... lol ... i enjoy the food.. i enjoy the staff.. the coffee... the soda lemonade (made w/ limes lol) and i enjoy the prices... you must try it! real authentic vietnamese food.

    Excellent food

Pho with tendon, tripe, and beef is excellent. Add in the basil and sprouts from the side dish that comes with it. Broth is very rich in flavor. Green bean with coconut milk drink is very interesting too. All the dishes I've tried are very good including rolls, shrimp, and rice dishes. Be sure to get both menus. Once on a very busy night a young waiter tried to hide the cheaper menu from me, saying that one's for lunch. Actually you can order from both menus anytime.
