    Too slow for lunch

I came here for lunch during work, and the service was simply unacceptable. When I arrived, It took forever for someone to notice me and then my waitress was slow too. My duck leg pho was heavy and uninspired, but it was cheap and plentiful. I suspect some of the beef or fish ball dishes are better. My durian shake was excellent, and the drink menu is impressive. The sign on the wall says that they have home-made ice cream and desserts, but I did not have time to sample them. Overall, I'd recommend this place to tourists who need somewhere clean and pretty to rest their feet and eat something unchallenging. If you only have an hour for lunch and you don't work next door, forget it--you'll never get served in time.

    At least it looks clean

Probably among the cleanest restaurants in the neighborhood but the food is a bit disappointing. There's plenty of garnish but not enough food for the price compared to several other restaurants in the neighborhood.

    Disappointing

I've been there twice and concluded that their food isn't really that authentic. We've tried Pho, Hu Tieu, Pork Chop, Softshell crab, Bo luc lac, Cha gio, Goi Cuon, Soda Chan, etc., and they were all sub par. Unless you really want an Americanized so-called Vietnamese food, look else where. The only thing I liked about this place is-- its cleanliness, in comparison to most other Vietnamese places around.

    Can't be better.

Had a great time at this restaurant this summer. Been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants from west to east coasts. This is one of the best! Great food, friendly service, good atmosphere. All that made it a great trip to NYC!

Best pho I've found, amazing prices!

And great, clean, refined for C-town standards, atmosphere. Like my pho to have a richer taste to the broth, not like they just through the meat into boiling water 10 secs before it arrives to your table, like at so many other places. And they have this richer broth, which is delightful. And it's only $5 or less...... Ordered a banh mi as well, wanted the brisket, but the server gave me a look like it would be a lot. Told him I wanted the veggies primarily and he redirected me to another banh mi. The table next to me, saw all my food arrived and said 'that's a lot of food' to each other. It was too much but all delish. The French bread of the banh mi had too much inside bread, so I pulled out most of it (also like my bagels scooped, always prefering crust and less carbs), and the balance was perfect. Highly recommended.

    Greatest Vietnamese restaurant ever

Large selection of authentic Vietnamese food. Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS, and the prices are amazing. I highly recommend the charcoal grilled beef sticks for an appetizer. Follow it up with one of their vermicelli or rice dishes (many under $5), or some curry if you want something really spicey. They have a good selection of beverages as well. The expresso black condensed milk ice coffee is especially yummy, as is the papaya shake. Basically, everything on the menu is good. If you just close your eyes and pick something at random, you can still be sure that it will be delicious.
