Interesting and Delicious Twist on Thai

I've now eaten here for lunch and dinner, and I've loved it every time. I have several food allergies (wheat, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, etc.), which they were more than willing to accommodate--the chef even came to the table twice to double check with me. The Pad Thai was the best I've ever had--not because it was traditional--it wasn't (I used to work at a small, family-owned Thai restaurant), but because it introduced new flavors that enriched and deepened the dish. It was a bit spicier than what I've had before, but I loved it. I had leftovers, but who can judge how much people eat. The menu may be a little pricier than typical Thai places, but I think that's because they don't serve simple, straightforward Thai dishes. Every dish does something a little different. I also think it's great that the Head Chef is a woman. The space can be chilly and a bit dark, but I don't really care about those things.

    Excellent and Unique Experience

This is a great new take on Thai cuisine... not your typical curry and noodle restaurant... this place is much more of a dining experience. They have things like burgers and pot pies but with a thai flavor profile. Really good and inventive.

    Lovely new Thai place

Great delivery (recommend the burger) & inventive modern Thai flavors and combinations. The chef has passion and it shows in the food... Will def be coming back again and again.

so dark I had to ask for a flashlight

I asked that they turn on some lights as I couldn't see the menu (nor my food, when it came). When they didn't I jokingly asked for a flashlight, which they brought without irony. Just turn on some danged lights, why doncha? We all "eat with our eyes" so I'll never know how good the food was or wasn't because I couldn't see it. I won't be going back.

    Not recommended

I felt compelled to write a review about this place after my experience with them, tonight. Wanted to try a new Thai place in the area. Ordered an entree that cost $14 and they sent me a cup of the butternut squash and tofu curry that I ordered. As if the cup was not enough of an insult, it was literally half filled. I called and they told me to mix it with rice. Thanks guys. Will never order here again.

    Great New Place

Very very good food. Made fresh right in front of you, which is more than most Thai places can say. About $2 more expensive than other nearby spots, but worth it.

    Love this new place

One of the best places I've been to recently. Food is fresh and different from other Thai restos I've been to (doesn't taste greasy and cloyingly sweet.) The spicy chicken dish with rice is exceptional.
