My girlfriend and I ate here twice in 2 days because the food was so good—the last time we tried the Pad Thai and it truly was the best we've ever had. So I thought, let me treat myself again and order delivery...BIG mistake. The noodles were dry, the chicken cooked to death. I was kind of shocked, so I called. The hostess said "Let me get you to a manager". Then after a looong wait someone got on the phone who, after i explained what happened, said: "I don't know what to tell you". I asked him if he was the manager because clearly a manager of a Chef Hong restaurant would NOT say that. So I asked for a manager, and was put on hold again for what seemed like ages. Then the same person got on again and told me the manager wasn't available, because it was dinner service. He asked my name and number and said someone would get back to me. Really. Really? So in one fell swoop Ngam went from a pinnacle to plain old crappy. Good one.

Do not ever order delivery from this place. I have been living in nyc for 15 years and must have ordered delivery thousands of times but have never had such a disappointing experience as i did tonight. I ordered through grubhub at 8:30 and got a text that the food would be delivered around 9:15. Almost 10 still no food....must have tried to call the restaurant 10 times but they didn't answer the phone. Called grubhub and they told me they spoke to the restaurant which said the food was ready and would be here by 10:11. 10:20 still no food. Starving and angry, i called the restaurant, which finally picked up the phone....they said that my order wasn't even done yet. So basically they lied to grubhub about my order being ready. When i gave them my mind, their response..."uh, uh....." - no sorry, no we'll comp the meal, no please let us make it up to you....if you can't handle deliveries get off grubhub!

Been there quite a few times and always had a great meal. Always the freshest of Ingredients prepared with a creative twist on Thai food. My only complaint with this place is it gets a little loud for an intimate evening with my wife. Although the staff does try to accommodate and puts us at a quiet table we more often do delivery.

Consistent, deeeeeelish and super creative. The pad thai is ALWAYS so good - in any variation (love that they offer zucchini noodles too) and the green curry is OMG. Don't even get me started on the spring rolls, dumplings or grilled calamari. The perfect fun night out with friends, or order in and savor every bite...

We just got Ngam delivered - was great!! Some of the best Thai food we've had in a long time here in the city. We ordered the traditional pad thai with chicken, the zuccini pad tha and the green curry chicken. All was great, not greasy! Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Tiny little neighborhood spot. Always great food. I think it's even a small corkage fee if you byo! The papaya pad Thai at least makes me think I'm eating my favorite dish in a healthy way!

I went here with my girlfriend for a birthday party of 20. The food was excellent especially the shrimp pad thai and duck entree. Chef Hong came over later in the evening and said hello which was very different from most spots in New York. The scene was very nice and laid-back, great for small parties at the middle table or date at the smaller spots surrounding it. My girlfriend and her friends all took pictures of the "Love" sign. Highly recommend.
