Not recommended
I got the vegetarian burger, onion rings and a chocolate shake. The shake was ok, the burger was unappetizing. Not worth the $20. Never going back there again.

Failure to execute
This place has slid down to the bottom of the hill. They succeeded at bringing a nice side salad, and that's it. After taking an hour to deliver to us everything showed up overcooked or improperly prepared.

Best hot dogs!
I am not a burger fan, but I did LOVE the hot dog here; this place has the best hot dogs in NYC. The fries are excellent as well. The atmosphere... not so good. They really need to improve the dining-in experience in the back of the restaurant.

very good
I went to New York Burger Co. yesterday for the first time, the I had the mini cheeseburger,it was so good, I thought about it all night, I am going back today. I find that its better to go there then to order for delivery, the food gets soggy.

Great Local Burger-centric Joint!
I've been ordering Burgers and Turkey Burgers from New York Burger Co. for the last year or so. In my opinion is this a VERY solid option all around. Its a burger that you are going to get a pricey steak restaurant, but its certainly a cut above anything you would get at your local diner. The meat is always delicious and juicy prepared just as I have asked. The bread is always a fresh treat and welcome addition, an not a throw away holder. The lettuce and tomato are always very nice and fresh as well. I love adding avocado and hot peppers to my burger! Along with the burgers being a delight, the side dishes get a big thumbs up as well, the endless shoe string onion rings are my favorite. New York Burger Co. also serves up a wide array of flavored mayos to choose from to top your burger with. I order delivery from this place, the staff is always very lovely on phone, my ordered is delivered quickly, and everything is always as it should be (nothing is spilled or a mess.) I am a big fan and highly recommend New York Burger Co. as an above average Burger option in the Gramercy/Flatiron area.

A good burger, but not top 10
My friends and I try to visit a new burger joint every couple of weeks. Last night we came to New York Burger Company. My meal came to about $18.50 for a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and a shake. That's about on par for burger places in NYC that aren't a restaurant per se. This is more of a high quality fast food joint. For the money it costs, I felt the portions were just okay. The burger wasn't big (Jackson Hole), but wasn't small either (Shake Shack). As far as the taste, it has a good taste to it and it was properly cooked. I wish it had come with more onion rings because they were great. The malt I ordered was good too, but not spectacular at $4.50. There are better bangs for the buck if you want a quick burger, but this is pretty good. The best and tastiest burgers for the money that I've had in this city are 5 Napkin Burger, Joy Burger, Ted's Montana Grill, Rare, and Jackson Hole. Those seem to impress every time and you get your money's worth at each of those places. The best fast food type burger is Good Burger, which is the vibe NY Burger Co. is trying to go for. Just not quite as good.

condiment heaven
The burgers are juicy and great. Wonderful place if you love condiments. I recommend the ketchup with chili peppers.
