New York Burger Co.

I found this place great. The employees were pleasant, the food was great, and the atmosphere was fun. I really liked the open kitchen, which was very clean and organized. We ordered in for my office and everyone raved about everything they had. I would highly recommend this place.

I found NYBC through this site, so I wanted to add my opinion to the pool as well. My sister was coming down from Uptown for a play and we decided to meet for dinner and dessert afterwards, and I wanted to go somewhere cute but inexpensive. I also wanted to find a place that catered to my vegetarianism and her...not so vegetarian ideals. (When I told her dinner was a surprise, she asked me if they served meat there.) Anyway, the only thing I was worried about that this site didn't provide was more atmosphere info. I was afraid it would be rather sketchy since it was cheap, but for the price, it is quite cosy. It's more of an upscale diner with some diner-esque tables toward the front and some regular tables in the back. The service was quick, although since it was around 10 at night, they'd run out of their "world famous" onion rings, and that was kinda sad. But I had the vegetarian salad with a veggie burger on top and really yummy cucumber dressing that made it unique. Everything was really fresh. My sister had a burger, and although she ordered it well done it was a little too pink for her liking but she still enjoyed it thoroughly. We both left not over-stuffed but just right. And if you're ever in the neighborhood, check out Billy's Bakery for dessert! It was the perfect little get-together night for us! Haha I'll stop now. But yeah, totally satisfied.

I've been a big fan of the burgers and salads at NY Burger - always done the way I like them, lots of choices, and always fresh - but then I discovered something better... BREAKFAST sandwiches - WOW! . Who knew that a burger place could do breakfast so well?! Highly recommend the egg, bacon & avocado on a brioche roll, and the fresh oj. BEST OF ALL, I tried a new text-message order-ahead service they offered (free!), ordered, and skipped the huge, long lines. It was magic to walk right in and have my lunch waiting for me. Sweet!

My roomates and I order a decent amount of delivery in Chelsea and we always seem to go back to NY Burger Co. The salads are WONDERFUL (especially the Cobb) and the burgers are better than any deli/bbq place around. I highly recommend the Miami Grilled Chicken Sandwich as well. The only thing that I've been disappointed with is the veggie burger. I can always rely on them for quick service and a consistently delicious meal!

Best place for a great salad or burger. But I recommend going to the restaurant. The phone service is not great.

The burgers are nice, but we've had the thai chicken salad and cobb salad, and both were wonderful. The chicken was fresh, the greens were good as well. Very good for the price

The turkey and black bean chili is delicious and fresh. I also have had the turkey burger which is so good and the delivery came very quickly. This is definitely my new favorite place in ny.
