    Delivery is no good

This is the second and the last time that I order from this place. I never get exactly what I order and they won't correct their error. The food is okay diner food, but go in and get it.

    poor customer service

I had heard great things about New Wave from my girlfriend, so we were excited to order when we both got home from a late night at work. When I called the restaurant and started giving the guy my address, he cut me off and told me that I was really far away (I was 7 streets up Broadway) and that it was getting late (it was 9:30 - they are open until past midnight). When I told him both of these things, he asked me for my order. I then began telling him that I wanted a meatball hero - he interrupted me again to tell me that it has been a busy day and that they were out of bread. At that point, I thanked him for his time and hung up the phone. If this place doesn't value new business, I would suggest plenty of other diners in the upper west side that are much more courteous to their customers. No stars at all on this one.

    New Wave is Outstanding

I Went Here with My Wife and My Two Kids, We Had Greek Moussaka and Spinach Pie and The Kids Had Chicken Finghers With Sweet Fries. Food Was Great, Price Very Good, Good and Friently Service. Highly Recommended

    Great start of the day

During our week's visit to New York we daily had our breakfast here. Good and friendly service, great food, lots of good coffee and fair prices. A good start of the day!!

    Great Food, Poor Service

I went here with a few friends before seeing a show in Central Park. My Chicken Souvlaki was very good and the sweet potatoe fries were amazing! The value was also very good. BUT the service was not good. My friend was brought a glass of water with a bright pink lipstick stain on it after a long wait for something to drink. The restrooms were just plain offensive. That is sad.

    Swanson? Banquet? Hungry Man?

The menu looks promising with pretty pictures and fair prices, but the food tells a different story. The meatloaf is manufactured, the "fish and chips" should read "fryer oil and batter", the hash is Hormel out of a can (at least that's what it tasted like). We should have gotten breakfast and maybe we wouldn't have felt so taken. If you go here, order breakfast. Maybe that is an in-house creation. I can say the place was clean and the service was fine.

    Good value for your money

I usually avoid the UWS like the plauge, but decided upon this spot after seeing the nice reviews. Was very pleased. Had a filling breakfast and only spent 23 bucks. Its the closest you can get to denny's priced meal. Was happy with everything, except the size of the glass the OJ came in it might as well have been a sippy cup. But overall, this place is a good bargain.
