Tasty
We had a nice simple fresh meal last night. Rice noodles, shrimp, spring rolls. Big portions, tasty, not heavy or greasy, and friendly service in a pleasant new location. Give it a try.

best pho noodles
i love the new location across the street, although i have to say i miss the eternal christmas icicle lights that would reflect in the double mirrors in the old location. i have been going to eat vietnamese on baxter for the past 20 years, but once my friend introduced me to Tu Do, i've been a convert. the noodles are perfectly springy (not soggy) and the pho broth is great. they also have tasty cha gio spring rolls (can't say the same for an awesome pho place around the corner with the worst rolls ever). and their pork chop over rice is delicious too. those are the basic trilogy of dishes that i usually rate a vietnamese restaurant on. the only thing lacking from this spot is they don't have special dishes, like the soft shell crab on baxter. other than that, this is my go to spot for now.

moved across the street
this restaurant moved across teh street recently and they are offering a 10% discount on all bills. their soup is amazingly delicious. probably because of all the msg they put in it to flavor it. but def tasty even though its bad for you. its a relatively small restaurant and can prob fit at most 50 people at a time...maybe less. but their spring rolls are excellent. the viet sandwich not so much. u dont get what u pay for. its not meaty and thick. this one is lacking the meat. its like i got a sandwich full of veggies. the staff is usually nice, although their english is limited. and its all men, besides the owner in the front of the restaurant who is absically the cashier. ever since they moved, i think the food got better. but i have a feeling its going to go down hill from here.

great food, great value
i love looking for great deals in great restaurants and this is one of them. Not only is the food not expensive but it's tastes great. I've tried one other vietnamese restaurant around the neighborhood but it was no good. The food smelled great but when i tasted it, it lacked flavor somehow. Since then i've stuck with this restaurant.
