    So so

We went here seeing the crowds but were disappointed by the food. The roti canai was superb. The chicken rendang was exactly the same as nasi lemak chicken. The quality of the chicken meat was subpar. Waiters were not polite which was expected. It was more of a mixed restaurant serving SE Asian food than just Malaysian

    Great food!

Love the Malaysian food here. Am originally from Singapore and this was like home away from home. The best hawker food we ordered: Penang Prawn Mee Soup (definitely comfort food) and Roti Canai (Indian flaky bread with a thin curry). Best cooked dishes: Asam Sting Ray Fish In Banana Leaf (heaven on earth!), Kang-kung Belacan, (Kang Kung is Water Convolus - vegetable belachan-shrimp paste), Beef Rendang (dried Curry Beef) (reminiscent of the rendang you get in Indonesia), Hainanese Chicken (make sure you also order the Hainanese Chicken Rice, a must! Comes with ginger/garlic sauce and the best Hainanese Chicken Chilli Sauce ever!) Definitely going back for more!! Ambiance: well, what can you say, the food is cheap and so good, you can forgo the ambiance.

    Not quite Hamburg, but...

Try the Indian mee goreng. It's marked hot but I could use hotter. It is delicious, though. As is every dish I've ordered here over the years. The wait is a plus. A lot of attention is given to each individual order. The arcade outside should not deter you.

if it was upto me id eat there everyday

This restaurant has no ambiance, no class, but it has amazing authentic malaysian food and SOOO cheap. My favourite is the Roti Canai and Hainesse Chicken with rice and clear soup. Definately a must try for all.

    Don't go there . . .

. . . you'll just make the line longer for the rest of us. And don't order a dessert, you'll occupy the table too long. Although the ice kachang can be had at a takeout window on hot summer days. If you don't really understand the Asian taste, order the mixed anyway - corn and red bean paste and palm seeds and grass jelly really ARE tasty smothered in shaved ice, evaporated milk, and sweet flavored syrup.

    Fried Pearl Noodles

I've known about this restaurant for quite some time now, but i've never really eaten here that much, until recently that is. I go with SY to this place all the time now. The dish I recommend is the Fried Pearl Noodles. It is delicious! The best I've tasted so far. Every time I go there, I get the same thing. Nasi lemak is pretty good too. Prices are fair as well. A must try.

    3 years

I was introduced to this place over 3 years ago. I've been getting the same dish (R30, beef and egg w/ white rice) for duration and I keep coming back for more! I've taken everyone I know here at some point in time and almost all of them find it necessary to come back. You cannot be disappointed here.
