I am a frequent buyer of takeout food from this restaurant. Kaachi-moru (spiced-up diluted-yogurt), Beef-cutlets, Kappa (mashed cassava), Beans-thoran, Inchi-curry- these things are as good as, or better than prepared in most Malayalam-speaking Syrian-Christian homes in New York City or in Kerala. The store has ambience that is only a shade better than your average Chinese take-out, complete with a goldfish stocked aquarium, and the attention you get from the attendants are of a random quality, at best indifferent, and at times seemingly hostile- They think smiling is a sign of insincerity; I've learned to not take it personally. Lunch-buffet is a good value, and the best way to experience the range of southwestern-India cuisine which is quite different from the North-India fare served in most other Indian restaurants.
