Pretty good chinese
i've been somewhat disappointed by my new neighborhood's lack of decent chinese food after living in williamsburg proper for nearly a decade. but oh lucky day, for i have discovered this place. it's only been a few times ordering, but i can tell you this: - avoid the dumplings for they are the typical bland bladders of dough stuffed with cabbage or meat - hot & sour soup is kind of gross - wonton mixed egg drop is great. salty and thick, and large pork filled wontons bob within the broth. this is helping to cure the week-long cold haunting my insides. - deep fat fryer needs to be turned up to ensure less greasy egg rolls, but otherwise, standard - a really lovely singapore mei fun, though albeit a touch salty - near greaseless, almost perfect vegetable lo mein - not an unappetizing spicy tofu & vegetable (many crisp julienned vegetables were a plus) - soft tofu & broccoli in curry sauce is AOK also, i'm currently in love with their pan fried wontons. delivery is prompt and friendly. depending on how much you order, you may receive a free soda, free cubed canned pineapple or, in one bizarre instance, four free extra egg rolls. i wasn't going to complain!
