    OMG it's closed!

I'm so sad that it's gone...

    Love it

This place is great. I love the food here. Compared to other restaurants, it's great priced and great quality and it'd delicious. I really get my money's worth. I definitely recommend this place to others.

    Great food. Great price.

I order from this place at least once a week. Ever since I've been ordering, the food has been really good, very flavorful and I don't feel about spending my money there. As to the review below on Kung Pao Chicken, I would like to say I know my Kung Pao since I've had it for so long and I can honestly say it is no where near tasteless. It's actually one of my favorite dishes. You know what, I'm going to get that tonight. Solid take out.

    Poor

Prices are decent, but the food isn't. I got an iota of meat in my hot & spicy shredded beef, and the egg roll was dry and tasteless. Kung pao chicken was bland, with no spice at all. I'll never order from here again. Avoid this place.

    Clean, Extremely Tasty Chinese food

The here is always consistent, no MSG added and is very tasty. The food is never too greasy and all of the dishes my roommate and I have had were great. Can't really ask for more when you're looking for inexpensive, solid neighborhood chinese.

    delicious

Since Sam's closed there are shockingly few good Chinese spots in the neighborhood. I passed on New China V for a while because it looks like such a dive. But the food is really great, especially for the money. This is one of the cheapest, best meals in town and some of the best Chinese in Murray Hill.

    Awesome

I've tried several places in the area and I find that New China V is a great value and great food. It's my new favorite in the area. My favorites are the Sweet and Sour Chicken (real pieces of white chicken, not "spare parts") and the Moo Shee Chicken. They also give enough food for 2-3 meal portions. Delivery can vary from 30 to 45 mintues but it's worth the wait.
