    cheap average chinese frat party

Another typical Chinese-run sushi place. Average at best. food and value is decent. Seems like a go-to place for cheap drinking and food. Last time I went it was packed and I couldnt even hear the server over all the rowdy people pounding on the tables to activate their 'sake bombs.' Based on the clientele and the way they were behaving, it felt like I was in a frat house party.

    absolutely great!

We went here with a big group and we had an amazing time! Don't believe one guy who had a bad time, look at the hundreds of great ones. Either way, you can't go wrong by going here and have a great time for $25 or less!

If you have had very good sushi, you'll know this isn't it...

If you want to get full and trashed for $30, this place is for you. If the quality of the fish is often a concern when you eat sushi, it isn't for you. Its loud. Its fun. Its cheap. Its mediocre AT BEST. Its pretty much what I expected for $30 but don't believe these posters. It is nowhere near "great" sushi.

    subpar sushi

I tried this place because of the recommendations I had read on this site, my love of sushi and limited budget. I tried a variety of rolls and, unfortunately, the sushi was uniformly bland. I have never had such a tasteless meal, although the service was fast and not unpleasant. The atmosphere--well, it's a typical, low-rent sushi place, the Japanese version of an American coffee shop. Save your money!

    Great food, Great prices

This is one of my favorite places in the city. They have an "All you can eat, all you can drink(beer, sake, wine)" special for $30 dollars (sans tax and tip), but unlike most all you can eat joints, this one actually has good food. Rolls range from simple rolls to the more complex dragon, spider and even their own ashiya roll. The atmosphere is always fun and service is quick. DO NOT GO HERE ON A DATE. As with most all you can drink alcohol places, people are half there to drink and half there to eat. It's great for a party, but not for romance. Other down sides include: the wait time to get a table (this place has become quite popular and seating can take a long time), it is very loud and rambunctous and very rarely does what you order match what you receive. However, if you do get the wrong food, since it is all you can eat, you can simply order more! If you have a group of more than 4, reservations are necessary.

    A favorite!

Fish is fresh and delicious, and the delivery is speedy. And without a doubt, the price is right! If you have a special request (e.g. spicy sauce on the side), I recommend calling in your order. And then you only have a chance it will be correct. That said, one of the best values in the city!

    I'm Gonna Miss This Place!

I am moving out of the city and I think I am going to miss this place the most! The sushi is always good and fresh! You can't beat the prices. Unlike most East Village restaurants, you are not sitting on top of each other. I have never had a bad experience here and I would recommend to it to anyone.
