great breakfast
Neptune is my go to place for breakfast, and sitting in the back garden is an extra bonus. They have great deals, and very good home fries and pancakes. I also love the Polish food for lunch or dinner. Pierogis and blintzes are great. All food is reasonably priced. Vegetarians can combine kasha and veggies, and they have a very good vegetable cutlet.

Home cooking better than you can make yourself.
The reason I love this place is because I can go there and get a good square meal that is nutritious, Delicious and very inexpensive. Their soups are hands down outstanding. I never order the blintzes or the pierogies, but my husband and father-in-law do and they love them. Dad-in-law is old school LES, so he knows. I usually get broiled salmon with broccoli and boiled potatoes. Yes, I can prepare these things at home, but why? When Neptune does it so much better. You put up with a little communication barrier weirdness, and it's hardly romantic. It's just a good old local New Yorker hang-out. The back patio Rocks!

Fabulous food and service
They have Soup to die for and the best Blintz's in NYC. The Polish waitresses are delightful especially Magdalena

Delivery Service isn't good.
I ordered chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. By the time the delivery guy came it was cold and they forgot the syrup and butter so I had to wait overall 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food. Then the lady on the phone gave me attitude. not good!!

Great people
Very nice service. They are very willing to serve you and keep serving you. The waiters are very polite and welcoming. The food is great too! Very large portions.

I'm shocked
I just spent $15 on the worse grilled cheese I've ever tasted. I am disgusted. They got me to order deluxe and didn't include the cole slaw, and the "american cheese" tastes like chemicals. Do not order from this place.
