Fabulous food and service
They have Soup to die for and the best Blintz's in NYC. The Polish waitresses are delightful especially Magdalena

Delivery Service isn't good.
I ordered chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. By the time the delivery guy came it was cold and they forgot the syrup and butter so I had to wait overall 1 hour and 15 minutes for my food. Then the lady on the phone gave me attitude. not good!!

Great people
Very nice service. They are very willing to serve you and keep serving you. The waiters are very polite and welcoming. The food is great too! Very large portions.

I'm shocked
I just spent $15 on the worse grilled cheese I've ever tasted. I am disgusted. They got me to order deluxe and didn't include the cole slaw, and the "american cheese" tastes like chemicals. Do not order from this place.

It all balances out...
This is one of those places that is simultaneously making up for what it's lacking. The food is certainly nothing to write home about, but how can you complain when $7.95 gets you a breakfast special that includes juice, coffee, two eggs, choice of meat (great kielbasa) and two hearty pancakes? Secondly, the service is completely sub-par and slow, but the waitresses are some of the friendliest I've ever met and the atmosphere on their dining patio out back is bliss: quite, serene, lined with trees. Especially considering the neighborhood, I'd say this place ranks pretty high despite some typical shortfalls.

Disappointing Polish Food
It seems that good Polish food is vanishing from the East Village. I grew up in this area and was lucky to have lived two blocks from the great Polish place, Christine's. When Christine's closed, I needed my fix of Polish food and looked a little further down the block at Neptune. Neptune used to be adequate. Just adequate. Now the food is downright bad. The pierogies are terrible, and the onions they have the nerve to serve with it are swimming in red oil. The sour cream doesn't even taste like sour cream (watered down?). It's liquid. The service is incredibly rude. One waitress couldn't hide the contempt because she had to serve our table with my toddler son (who had done nothing). This place will no longer get my money.
