Worst Food in Williamsburg, possibly all of NY. EVERYTHING were ordered was inedible and had to be thrown out.

Heard about this place from a friend, I was a little hesitant to try cause the quality of Chinese in willyb,gpoint has gone downhill! Decided to give it a try and was amazed at how good the food was!! Hot and sour and egg drop soup were by far the best I had in years, perfect seasoning, fresh veggies in the hot and sour, I have to have it at least once a week along with Juicy buns with pork, topped with crab meat. Those have such an lightness to them even though there filled with broth. Chinese meatballs with bok choy were delicious, meatballs were in a brown sauce and were so tender, as was the beef in the beef and asparugus dish. Crispy noodles with chinese brocoli and bbq pork are interesting, once i mixed the noodles with the sauce I was hooked. Also chinese sausage fried rice was really good, not a greasy mess that tastes like month old oil that you get from a lot of these take out places. My mom, who is a moo shu fanatic and is VERY picky loves the moo shu pork. Service can be a little scattered, it seems like theres only 1 main guy sometimes it takes a while for him to check on you but hes sweet and if he takes too long he'll comp your soda or wine (at least for us he did) so he gets a pass. Decor is really nice, dark wood but nicely lit. I can't understand why this place isn't consistently packed!! It's a tiny pit pricey if your used to take out combos but def worth the splurge when your craving excellent chinese in a nice setting. Also great options for vegetarians, Give it a try you won't be dissapointed!!

After living in the neighborhood for over 14 years, I have been waiting for a real Chinese restaurant to open after having to take the train over to Manhattan or Queens all this time. This is great, nuanced Shanghai food in addition to solid standards. Vegetarian dishes are excellent, dumplings too, and lunch menu is a steal. This review is coming from a foodie and well-travelled Chinese American devourer of good cooking.

Homemade dumplings and homemade crepes for moo shu shrimp. Texture of the dough was chewy and fresh (on both the crystal dumplings and thin/springy crepes). Plus, tons of shrimp in the moo shu dish. My boyf got hot and sour soup and it was a huge portion and good. Was my first time to try it, but will definitely order again and try other dishes.

Have eaten in and ordered take out and have enjoyed my meal every time. The food is well-portioned and reasonably priced. The hand made noodles are delicious! That's the biggest reason to go. Its also fun to see the chefs making them in the back. Nice to see another good Chinese restaurant on Grand.

After viewing their menu I was excited to try this new restaurant. Items like smoked tofu, lotus root, and soy peas are exciting and rare. So imagine my disappointment when the food was over-cooked in watery sauce with flavors that were coarse, unpalatable and plain. To top it all off they failed to deliver one of the dishes we ordered. never again

I love a variety of takes on Chinese cuisine, including the greasy American style, but this place takes grease to new heights. I had NEVER ordered a dish from a Chinese restaurant that I considered completely inedible, until I tried the standard Kung Pow chicken and what I got was a solid 1/8th inch of oil on top of an unappetizing fry of chicken and veg. When I say 1/8th inch, think, the length of a fingernail that's way to long and needs to be clipped. None of the other dishes I ordered were noticeably better.
