Relax & Fun
Very fun crowd, very relax. It was packed but we were not rushed out; we stayed there for hours chatting with my friends and other people in the restaurant. Very diverse crowd bw 25-35 and friendly atmosphere. I had fish; it was very fresh, lightly cooked but tasty and very good. Greet choice of beers. Overall fairly cheap for the quantity and quality. Will definitely go back.

Nice!
Fun people. Great wine list, thoughtful staff and a really good burger. Went there with the after-work crowd and stayed 'til 11! The whole atmosphere is easy-going and eclectic. From the Wall Street boys to a group of Postal Workers and everything in between. Join in any conversation, have a ball! NICE!

A Must See
One of the best bars in town! I loved the food, the atmosphere and the amazing tram they have working there! Thanks for an awesome evening out Nelson Blue!

this is a bar, awful food but great for drinks
The food is overpriced, and very bad. I've tried lunch here, dinner too. At times we get appetizers with our drinks but even that's nothing above pub grub. Service is so so, you have to go to the bar, where the bartenders are friendly and try to get your drinks fast. Busy, crowded after work. Go for the bar scene, eat somewhere else.

Awesome place - great food and service
Nelson Blue is one of my favorite places in the city. It's worth the ride down from Midtown just to dig into some great food at a bar with a friendly bartender and waitstaff. Unlike many "after-work" places, Nelson Blue doesn't have that meat-market feel and the music isn't so loud that you have to scream to be heard. Try the lamb chops, the DUB pies and the sides. Ask Pauli to set you up with NZ wine.
