I thought the food was great... Will have to try a couple of things on the menu before I rate it a perfect score... It's too early to speak about value of food.

I love Negril Village. The food is fabulous. I have been there quite a few times, it is one of my favorites. I have recommened it to several different people and they just loved the food, service and atmosphere!. It is just right for hanging out on a friendly or intimate level. I have tried just about everything on the menu. The Jerk Salmon with rice and peas and mixed veggies mmm, just yummy.

As a student on a budget, I am constantly searching for quality restaurants that won?t send me running to financial aid for additional loans. This place was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food, and even discussed Jamaican culture with us for ten minutes. My date, less adventurous than I, had the Rasta Pasta. I tried some of the Jerk Chicken that came with it and found the meat to be perfectly cooked: very moist with the right amount of spice. I had the oxtail. When the waiter described it as ?bone lickin? good,? I thought this merely a figure of speech. I later realized his accuracy as I worked to free every last morsel of slow-cooked beef. The trendy d?cor enhanced the experience; I would love to return here on a Saturday for drinks!

I went downstairs to the lounge bar area after a comedy show at Boston Comedy club. The food was presented very well. The food tasted very good. The atmosphere is quite romantic. The service was friendly. i was only a party of two and there was a 20% gratuity charge added to my bill. Maybe it was because we ordered a lot of things on the menu or that's just their policy. I wasn't bothered by it. I would have tipped the same or more if my friend wasn't paying the bill. Great experience for Jamaican food. I enjoyed it.
