    Feels like Home.

The food is amazing. The drinks are amazing, and the service is amazing. The only issue that I had was with the manager. He wasn't very warm, he wasn't very friendly or accommadating. But since you wont really interact with the manager too much you will be in good hands. The staff is attractive, and friendly. I highly recommend it.

    Great Food and Ambience

Negril is where I had my second date with my then boyfriend, now fiance. The food was excellent and we sat next to AJ formerly of 106&Park! Nice hang out spots for regular folks as well as celebrities! I have been back to Negril a few other times and it was just GREAT. The food, the drinks, the music. I loved it all. Everyone should go and check it out...tasting is believing! Enjoy your visit...

    Loved it

I've been to Negril twice, and I'm going for a third date there tonight (okay slow down, it was with different girls each time)... In any case, it's turned into the place I can bank on for a first date. The food's excellent. The waiters are very professional and courteous like you wouldn't believe, and the atmosphere's great. I enjoy the decor - it's extremely chill, and after a late night dinner you can hop on over downstairs to the lounge and get into the club scene... I highly recommend it.

One of my fav spots ..Food is Authentic

I enjoyed the times I came here.. Came about 3 times total..I like the island rum punch and jerk shrimp.. I usually get the Red Snapper..last time wasnt as good as first..but good spot for date.. Very nice atmosphere.. Nice, Clean Restaraunt.. Prefer it over the one on 23rd.

    Not the greatest

The decor is definitely gorgeous but the food was average. (Don't get the salt-fish because they obviously dont drain it enough. I mean it's supposed to be salty but come on now, there's only so much sodium a human being can ingest) Also, avoid the breadcrumb dessert. I was recommended that by the waiter but could not finish it because the rum was just too strong giving it a bitter taste. Also, although the service was great, my friend ordered ice cream and they did not tell us it was not coming until we had all finished our desserts, so as a rule of thumb, always check on your food.

    Torn between...

The roti and the coconut shrimp. I visited a weeks ago. My friends had hosted a baby shower there and brought me some food after. I was hooked on the coconut shrimp... A few weeks later they invited me for dinner. I loved the Sorrel Colada...then they came with the fish cakes...(like mama used to make)...The chicken roti was better then I expected. I am used to really greasy or really dry roti. This was smothered in a sauce, but not overwhelmed. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Best I've had...The service could be better, but the food and drinks are worth a little irritation, I think.

    Loved it!

It was a surprise to find this nice restaurant in the village, while visiting my sister in NYC. The decor is great, the hostess, very attentive and service terrific. We tried great seafood and a "to die for" bread pudding, in the middle of our dinner we were approached by the manager, he wanted to know what we thought of the food and service, a very kind and corteous gentleman. Next time we visit NY....Negril will be a sure place to visit!
