    Great for dinner dates!

The food was average. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Great place for dates, close friends and family.

    Good restaurant and lounge

I usually order their curry goat or oxtail dishes. I'm not crazy about their jerk chicken dish. I wish the chicken was marinated more in the jerk sauce. But overall, it's a good restaurant, and the lounge plays some great music.

    Negril is Worth trying...TRUST!

Myself and 11 friends visited this spot for the first time on Sun, April 12, 2009. Everyone liked what they ordered, liked the servers, manager and the decor and cleanliness of the place. Two in our party was a little disappointed with the quantity of food in the "Jamaican Breakfast" but everyone else felt they had plenty. Most of us are from the Caribbean and know good Caribbean food when we taste it...this was good food. I had the Jamaican Breakfast and thought the quantity was good, the price of $19 I thought should have been $15. My wife had a virgin Pena Colada...it was the best I ever tasted.

Mussels & Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream!!

So this was our second trip here and yes, we'll be back! On both trips I had the Oxtail Entree and although I would love if they were slightly bigger, the oxtail gravy over just about anything would be delicious. But to start this time I had the Bahamian mussels and believe me, I considered ordering some to to go. They were excellent. And then to finish off my meal I again had chocolate ice cream with chopped hazelnutes inside, again I wish I had a cup to go. This place is slightly on the pricey side but we've yet to be dissappointed with anything. Enjoy

    Best Jerked in Town

I recently visited Negril Village and my family and I had a wonderful experience. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. We had to wait a little bit for our table but it was expected, like most restaurants in and around the city. After being seated we were greeted and waited on by Marcus which was an amazing server, giving he remembered everyones order (party of 6) without any mishaps. My wife is always finding something to complain about but she loved her meal. After finishing our lovely banana rum crepe we were such in awe that we ordered another round of drinks. I can't wait to go back, next time I plan on getting the jerked salmon hmmm.

    Birthday Disaster

I celebrated my bday @ Negril Village on Jan. 3rd '09 and it was the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant! 1st they gave my reserved table away so me and my party of 14 had to wait about 30 min to be seated, I never recieved my drinks while everyone at my table was on their 2nd and 3rd drinks and after about an hour or so when I had to track the waiter down is when he tells me they ran out of my drink and he's gonna give me something else that I had no idea of what it was and he still never came back to take my drink order! I ordered a side which I never received and it took them about 30 min to come and clean our table off to bring out my cake. My cake was a Tiffany's Gift box with a ribbon, the waiter took off my ribbon before bringing it out to me and when I asked him why the hell would he do that all he said was oh I didn't know you wanted to keep the ribbon on! It was on the actual cake and he ruined it! After all the hassle I went through I decided he didn't deserve $100 for a tip so we payed our bill but left out the tip. Me and my party left about a block away the waiter and 2 bodyguards come running after me yelling that I didn't pay my bill when all we didn't pay for was his tip and after he counted the money and saw that it was only missing his tip he turns and walks away while the bodyguards yell out that I can't come back anymore! My party payed over 500 dollars in their establishment and they're telling me I can't come back anymore?! Worse restaurant ever... I have never been treated that way before especially in a place that suppose to show customer service and their food isn't the best Jamaican food to begin with!

    amazing food, ambiance is great

i've gone here with college friends. and i've taken my mother here. it's such a great atmosphere. two suggestions - the mussels in coconut broth are delicious and the sangria is a good size pitcher and cheap too - with alot of fruit....
