Great spot for drinks & conversation!
I have been to Nectar several times and have yet to be disappointed. The wine and beer selection is excellent, the bartender quirky & knowledgeable and the small plates satisfying. It may not be the cheapest place in town for drinks, but it's not unreasonable. The decor is clean and sleek but still has a warm feel to it. Perhaps the best of all?-- when they renovated the space they put excellent acoustics in the ceiling. You can enjoy music there while still having a conversation where you don't have to yell to be heard, and other conversations don't intrude. One of my favorite uptown spots - have already planned my next visit!

nice, quaint atmosphere with great wine
nectar is a wonderful lil wine bar located in harlem. it's a nice, quaint atmosphere with great wine. there are food options, but only about 5 hearty options to choose from (paninis mainly). dont go here hungry! along with great wine, there is tasty cheese selections from around the world. the service is great and the waiters make sure to help in the wine/cheese selection process. the staff is warm and friendly, so you'll feel relaxed right away.
