Nectar Coffee Shop

I was offered a table in front of the public restroom. I should have been told this fact by the staff since I was not familiar with the coffee shop & did not realize I was sitting in front of the restroom until I started eating my sandwich. It was 1:45 pm, a weekday & not crowded. There were other tables available. Perhaps I was seated in such an unpleasant place because I was a woman dining alone? Hardly worth the $18 for a BLT, french fries, & a sparkling water, considering the restroom smell I endured & patrons continually entering and leaving the restroom. Be warned. Best left to the tourists who don't know any better or the children attending school across Mad Ave.

I asked my parents to take me to Nectar one day before school, and we absolutely loved it! I got a toasted blueberry muffin, my mom a scrambled egg on a roll, and my dad, a whole wheat bagel. Love the atmosphere, so french! Hoping to be back next week!

Disappointing food, very overpriced (we paid over $38 for a turkey sandwich, cup of soup, & frozen chicken tenders). Turkey was sooooo dry you could hardly eat it! We spent a week in NYC, and this was our most disappointing restaurant experience.

went here with my father and mother who were visiting from the Dominican Republic. My father ordered the rice pudding and raved that it was better than any of the ones back home! Now that's some good rice pudding! Next time you go there, order it. You won't be disappointed!

I work down the street and get an iced coffee or cappuccino every day. It is an expensive habit, but worth every penny.

It was about 9:30 am on 10/01/09 and my friend and were hungry for something. We tried the blueberry muffins and asked for them toasted. They were the best we both every had. I came with butter and jelly/jam. The waiter was very friendly. My friend asked for more coffee and he gladly refilled her cup. I had chamoille tea. I would recommend this place.
