My fiance surprised me for my 25th bday with a Lebanese dish... I found this place a while ago online and so I was super excited bc the decor is so cool! They have cubbies under the booths to put your things in! We ordered a hummus dish with minced meat and pine nuts to start (amazing) and also the 3 cheese filo..(to die for!) the spicy meatballs left me speechless and the chicken shawarma was Delish! The yogurt sauce is a must... They should sell their hot sauce in jars, I would put it in anything. My fiance had them bring out my favorite strawberry shortcake from another bakery, but they were so cool about it! They brought out candles... I would absolutely come here again!!! The service was great, the food Delish and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Next time we will order dessert and bring all our friends! We live so close to ilili- now I don't ever want to go there... :)

I'm honestly really surprised at these reviews! I'm Lebanese myself and am obviously very well acquainted with the food and I find the food at Naya top quality, probably the best in Manhattan. Each and every friend and colleague of mine that I've taken here has agreed that it's the best Lebanese food they've had in the city. I am proud to bring people here because despite its size, the service, the warmth and the quality of the food are consistent and impressive. And the reviews I've read all say the same thing.

Great taste, both the food and the decor; but portions are tiny and not even good service can make up for the steep prices.

Since I came back from Israel I have been in search of good hummus and shawarma. After researching a bunch of places, I decided to try Naya based on the recommendation of some of my work colleagues, boy was that a mistake. The chicken shawarma was so dry I almost choked, and had literally no seasoning, not even salt and pepper. The hummus tasted like cardboard. I've never been so turned off from food in my life. Only thing I can say is that the place looks nice and the service was friendly, but I'd end the positive remarks right there

The food tasted like it had just been defrosted. Service was stuck up, the tables were uncomfortable, the portions were small and I would NEVER go back.
