overcharged
as with an earlier reviewer, I was overcharged by a waiter not paying attention. he brought us the wrong food then the wrong bill. but I was so busy talking I just paid the bill and only realizedlater it was a mistake. what is going on with the service here. nice atmosphere, good food, but they need new waiters. good looks on the waiters isn't good enough.

Keep an eye on your bill
This is completely my fault. I went here with someone new and we were having a good conversation when the bill came. Turns out they gave me the bill for a different table which was about $60 more. Oh well. Overall the service was very sketchy to start with... Nobody seemed to know what was going on.

Best Lebanese in New York
The best kept Lebanese secret in New York. Best Lebanese restaurant altogether with a modern and tasteful ambiance.. far from the ostentatious look and feel of other more famous places. Fresh and delicious food, good portions and gracious service. A must!

Not recommended
This is my first review ever - this was actually bad enough to compel me to write about it. I've gotten delivery from here, 2-3 times - the third time was pretty much against my will. We order it for work, and I think next time I'll be more vocal about how awful it is as the vast majority of our group of ~20 can't stand it anymore. I don't know if I've ever had food I disliked this much - if I did it was certainly much cheaper. This place is ridiculously expensive - when considering the quality it's laughable. Everything I ordered tasted the same - a mix of bitter and bland - even though they were very different items (grape leaves, baba ganouj, spinach pies). Shortly into eating it I'd lost my appetite for the rest of the night. I can't recommend this to anyone

not so good att all
the athmosphere is great. But the food and service stinx. We were very disappointed. i am Lebanese and brought my American friends there. At the end I was so ashamed and belitteled that I wished the floor oppened up and I fell in there

Excellent!!
I'm Lebanese myself and can certify this is the best Lebanese/Mediterranean food in the city. I bring my friends here every chance I get and they jump at each opportunity. The food is tasty, authentic, and the servers are great! Thank you naya for this wonderful reminder of home in a city so far away
