    Good food, poor service

The food's quite good, but the staff there is quite rude, disrespectful and lazy. Is it worth the hassle? If you have no other place to go, go there and wait in line, pretty much herding them into making your food - and don't pay until you have your food so that you have the option of walking out when you get so frustrated you could break something. Don't bother with delivery. You'll be lucky if they pick up the phone.

    Poor Customer Service, Great food!

If you use this place for take out, don't expect this to be a typical diner where you can get any menu item at anytime. They only serve breakfast before 11am, so no soups, wraps, or sandwiches before then! How hard is it to throw together a wrap when there's no cooking needed!? They seem very lackadaisical hanging around the register doing whatever rather than attending to you trying to pay. I've experienced this several times. I felt like they were just standing there completely ignoring me! I also went in to pick up an order and asked a waiter if the bag was the pick-up order, and he responded, "I don't know" then just stood there. I ended up having to go to the back of the place to ask a waitress. Other than that, the food is exceptionally good, esp the spinach dip. If you're a quiche fan, it's not that great...not like real quiche from a french place that does it properly. I'd call their quiche egg pie. The chicken ceasar wrap is GREAT; the romaine was VERY fresh so I'd assume the salads are good. If they had a different staff, besides the red headed petite waitress who is very attentive, they'd be perfect. THEY DO NOT DELIVER ON WEEKENDS.

    An underated Midtown treasure!

A unique Diner in Midtown that has great food and wonderful service. From a full breakfast in less than 15 minutes, to a lunch menu that is not only tasty, but you won't miss any work eating out! The food quality is right up there with establishments charging twice and three times as much. Lunch specials are a value, you can't even order take out for less! The quality is great and you can even give them special requests to fit any diet! The staff and servers are probablt the nicest New York City has to offer. This is a restaurant that deserves a Zagat rating. They offer loads of salads, fresh juices, grilled fish, chicken and meat and plenty of vegtables. You just can't do any better than Naturally Tasty in Midtown!

    Used to be a favorite

I used to love naturally tasty for their delicious veggie burgers in pita and their thick cut fries. The service has really never been that great. Once you find something good on the menu STICK WITH IT. If you go to the fringes life meatloaf, stir fry, burritos, etc. you will be sorely disappointed. I think sandwiches/burgers may be their only pretty okay offering. Also, I have yet to find out why it's called "naturally," it just looks like a diner with marginal food to me.

    Standard Diner Fare

I read the reviews prior to our visit, so I was looking forward to the food and service that is so highly rated. It wasn't a bad place necessarily, but it was not great. The food was standard diner fare, and the service was okay. It was a little busy so that could explain the lack of service. It definitely does not deserve the high ratings currently on this website.

    Great place!

This happened to be the first restaurant I ever ate at in New York. My friend and I just decided to wander in. We are so glad we did! There's a wide variety of food items on the menu -- all at an extremely reasonable price. Our waitress was so kind to us. We immediately felt welcomed!

This place is an absolute must!

Their chicken noodle soup and B.L.T. sandwiches are excellent. I eat there at least twice a week, sometimes more. If everything on their menu is as good, I would say this place is an absolute must for those looking for a delicious everyday meal. The prices are also a definite plus. They're located right across the street from the Sex Museum on 5th Ave. and 27th St.
