Real New York City atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for this historic hot dog spot. The dogs are delicious and at an amazing price considering the location and history of Nathan's. Highly recommended!

The hot dogs are great. Crispy, tasty, everything you can ask for in a hot dog. The fries are among the best fast food fries in the game- tender with a bite, meaty and tasty. The Coney Island Nathan's has more to offer on their menu such as fried clams (pretty standard tasting) and even frog's legs. It's a welcome oasis on a hot summer day. Check out the Brooklyn Cyclones while you're there and check out there beer selection.

I luv nathan's. The hot dogs are delicious. I luv their chili cheese fries as well. Wash it down with a lemonade. So good even hasidic jews eat there.

Usually I like this Nathan's a lot, especially since it's pretty historical, but I suggest only going on -GOOD- days; i.e. days where there aren't events. This especially pointing at the Mermaid Parade and July 4th. Last year's Mermaid Parade the place was PACKED on all sides, damn near a 30 minute wait to get to the front. Since there's a rush to get those hot, sweating customers out of their hair, they don't really pay attention to some of the important things, like waiting to drain their fries. I ordered a large size of fries and the fries were just drowning in oil, and it certainly wasn't from the cheese that was on it. So yeah. If you go to an event like those I suggest just packing lunch. There's just no way to get anything good when the poor employees are pulling their hair with thousands of customers.

the best hot dogs and fries, bar none! just make sure they are fresh (sometimes on off-hours you will get food that's been sitting there.) and, in the middle of coney island, the beach, salt air...just great!
