I have been eating in nargis for years, before they expanded, i still eat there a few times a week, i love this place. It's always busy because the food is excellent and not expensive.nargis is very clean and comfortable to enjoy your meal. I look forward to going there with my friends and family because i'm guaranteed great food and have never been dissapointed. The service is exceptional, they are always polite and extremely professional. It makes me upset to read these negative reviews of such a fantastic place. anyone who's looking to experience a real uzbek kitchen with unbelievable food will not be dissapointed. Please try the uzbek plov it's there famous national dish. It's absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

This place used to serve a really good Uzbek food. But not anymore. Its overpriced (comparing to any other Uzbek places on Brighton , Ave U etc.) Doesn't taste like Uzbek food at all. Ingredients combination is not right. Too much garlic and spices, oil and bone instead of meet. Such a disappointment. Do not recommend this place for anyone. don't waste your time and money!

After a long day at Coney Island we did not want to leave without trying some russian food. Looked at all the reviews and couldn't decide- after all what one loves another hates. Went by the look of the exterior. Looked well- kept and not gaudy like the others.apparently they don't have a lot of non- russian speakers- they kept speaking to us in russian and didn't understand us. They brought an extra entree and we were glad to pay because food was exceptional. So fresh, so well-seasoned and prepared. Simple but elegant presentation and fresh herbs on everything made me want to have an herb garden. Perfectly enhanced each dish. We live all the way in Westchester and came out to Coney Island for fun. No we will be coming back for uzbequi food. Try this place, you will love it!

Everything is always fresh and yummy! Everything that I have tried so far tastes amazing! I have no complains! The only thing that I can say is that sometimes it takes time but that's understandable because they are always so busy! So I don't understand why people even complain about waiting!

Best stuff on earth. I would recommend the Tashkent salad, the lulya kebab the homemade fruit drink the plov, manti, lagman soup, and i think the whole menu. You would love this place. But i do think the prices are a little pricey but i can still aford them.

I just wanted to order some food for delivery. Like other thousands of Brooklyn residents I live alone. So I called them gave my order and the unprofessional employee who picked the phone up told me that they have got a minimum order amount policy for delivery which is $20. I said ok. And I was forced to order something else to reach $20. Anyway finakky my order was exactly $19.76. And she was still telling me I needed to order more. I said ok make that $19.76 to $20.00 I am ready to pay the difference no problem. :))) She said NO. I said why ? We are talking for onlly 24 cents and I am ready to pay that amount. She asked her manager and that manager said the same thing NO. I said I already ordered more than enough food for a single person and please adjust that amount to 20.00 USD and let me have the order. Again they said NO :)) than I said ok cancel the order. They said OK So what I can tell you is these places see us not like customers. They just see us like someone to be ripped off.

Title says it all. A good dinner for 4 people is roughly $130. Food quality is excellent.
