Ordered lunch at work the other day. Food was overspiced and sloppy. The food didn't hold up to the two block delivery. The portions were tiny and the meal was EXPENSIVE. Not going to order from them again.

the wait staff was nice; ambiance was gd; however the quality of the food was BAD! they drowned a lot of our dishes w/ the spicey sweet red sauce. I ordered a steamed veggied dumpling which was the best dish. the other 2 appetizers my best friend & I ordered were covered/drowned in sugary sweet red spicey sauce; agh!!! for my entree I had a noodle dish--not bad I thought, but then twds my 2nd bite, it was way too salty - but better than the sugary/saucy appetizers. my best friend ordered a veggie entree but they gave him a poultry one instead, which was not bad but for some odd reas, the chicken didn't taste like chicken; instead it tasted like stale breaded tofu!!! I"m asian, so I know excellent asian food and this place is unfortunately very poor when it comes to food. the wait staff was very nice/friendly, so we tipped them nicely.

Man I am craving Nanking right now. I came here with my family last and loved everything had. I highly recommend the lamb chops and pad thai. The prices were pretty good for the area. Service was excellent, and food came pretty quickly. I will definitely go back.

a place to avoid, even it were the last place to have a meal. Approx $40 per person (excluding drinks); the place serves some real bland stuff. presentation is extremely poor. decor is the only saving grace. service is legendary slow. And please; it is miles away from Hakka Chinese (the 'Indian' Chinese). Place is a big No No

I am realy pleased to visit nanking time square restaurant in my knowledge that is no 1 Asian style Thai and Chinese restaurant in time square, drums of heaven and lamb chops is soo awesome , I had lot of experiance like kind of fusion but its realy fantastic and the service are excellent fast service but authentic nice setup and the manager handling the restaurant is soo friendly and co-operative.

wow, im surprised at the bad reviews this restaurant has gotten. i went there last friday with a group of 12 and had a really great experience. the service was good and the staff was friendly. the manager himself came to ask us if everything was ok. eventhough we made very confusing orders, it was well taken care of. the food was very good... specially the starters. we loved our experience at this restaurant and will go back again...
