Just possibly the best Chinese food!
This could quite possibly be the Chinese I've ever had. Although more expensive than most other Chinese restaurants, the quality, service and presentation make this one outstanding place. Great people watching sitting outside, especially on Saturday nights when they have live jazz (definetly worth the trip on Saturday nights). The best spare ribs, dumplings and scallion pancakes and the Grand Marnier Shrimp are absolutely the best. Nancy, the owner is always friendly and insures that you get excellent service. Pig Heaven is simply heaven!

Average
This place is average with a capital 'A' - average looking, below average service, average portion sizes and average flavours. They forgot one of our dishes (being that wacky choice - rice), something I particularly love.

Eh...
While the ribs are probably the best on the ues, and the grand marnier shrimp was excellent, the rest of the food is just ok and much more expensive for what you get than many other chinese places in the area. The decor is nicer than the usual-service about the same. Been there several times and always feel just too light in the wallet afterwards to justify it anymore. Do take-out ribs and soup and call it a day.

Great food
It is a rare to have a combination of great food, great service and nice atmosphere. The duck and the spare ribs are especially worth the trip.

Chinese Heaven
For someone that usually does not enjoy chinese cuisine, I actually really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the grand marnier shrimp, which were very tasty and different. I also ordered the orange chicken which was also quite tasty. The food was cooked and served in less than 8 minutes, the waiter came to our table a few times to make sure everything was OK. Nancy, who is the owner, also came by for a minute to ask if we were enjoying things. She even grabbed a fork and tried one of our orange chicken pieces. She was very friendly and comfortable with us

I know a good thing when I see one!
I'm the quintensential foodie-not a snob but know good food. I've dined here several times and trust me it's the best on the upper east side.The ribs to die for! You can always tell that the owner cares-she's always there making sure things run smoothly-really important for a place of this standard!

A wonderful place
You must check out this awesome place. They have these really delicious spare ribs that I just need get get some more of. I enjoyed the other items we had such as Orange Beef and Cold Noodles in hot oil. Service was good and quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food either, the kitchen was fast. I'm going back for more ribs.
