Wonderful!
I have been eating here for years. Though management has changed throughout the years, food and staff remain excellent. The food is always fresh and delicious. Additionally, the wait-staff is warm, attentive and personable. Could not ask for a better Japanese restaurant, you won't be disappointed! :)

A good find in Brooklyn Heights
A small, cute restaurant. Try to get the table in the window so you can watch the world go by as you dine (or a table in the back by the beautiful fish tank, which is only a little weird if you're eating suishi!) Quick service, good food. I've been eating here for years and years and have never had a bad experience either in the restaurant or with take-out.

New Favorite!
I was a little loathe to go into this place because it always looked cheesy from the outside, but the food is awesome! Sushi is fresh and their udon is done right - good consomme base. They also give a nice little sushi bar bite even if you sit at a table. You should go!

Good Food, reasonable price, rude cashier
The food is here is good, and I've surveyed a number of the Japanese restaurants in the area. However, the service is not quite so friendly; the cashier at this place can be rather rude.

Sit at the bar for the best service
I enjoyed my visit to New Nanatori. I ordered the Spicy Platter (one of each- spicy tuna, salmon, yellow-tail roll) and an Asahi beer 20oz beer w/tip+tax was $23. Service is always better at the sushi bar the waitresses were continually walking past me which meant I got everything quickly. A word of caution: the sushi can be prepared rather hastily. Traditionally, a spicy roll of anything is a dry spice, thereby not compromising the fish my marinating it. Nanatori puts large amounts of the fish into a bowl, mixes with a spicy sauce and then makes the roll with rice wrapped around the fish nothing else. This is not how I perfer my roll, but next time I'm there, I'll just ask them to add ingredients to the roll. Just a word of caution if you're looking for "pure" fish.
