    Buon Italia!

The food matched the service = exceptional and fabulous. The best part is that they did not rush you out of the restaurant - despite the fact that it was crowded. The people are beautiful without being pretentious. Love this place! I had the baby octopus stew as the appetizer and the gnocchi special. Gnocchi was absolutely divine. The only negative is the pannacotta which came out very dense - like subgum. Otherwise, this is definitely a great way to start your Friday/Saturday night!

    Good food, incompetent wait staff

At the last minute, we made a reservation here because they would take 7 on a Saturday night. We had to wait a while to be seated but didn't much mind. But then our waiter came over and the trouble began. I think it might have been his first day on the job, he seemed confused about the basics. I could handle him fumbling our orders, but I couldn't believe it when he poured about a quarter of a glass of our Barolo on the table while decanting it. On top of taking forever to clean it up, he made no effort to replace what he wasted! None the less, the food was quite good. Our party had a wide range of apps that were all well received. Our main dishes were also good, although some complained that the oxtail pappardelle wasn't meaty enough. I had the smoked mozzarella gnocchi, which was outstanding. In short, if you know the neighborhood, then this place should exactly meet your expectations - assuming you get a better server than we did!

Great Food, Loud Music, Good Waiter

Loved the food, the wines, the waiter´s attention, the location, the place! Music too loud... if u wanna talk, go sit inside, on the back of the restaurant or else, prepare urself to shout... Really provided us an amazing night in our visit to NY!

Hot 'lil boite in the heart of Clubland

This is a great little place with lots of panache. A friend and I had dinner here on a Friday night. The service was very friendly and attentive, but not overly so. I had the tagliatelle with duck ragu which was yummy and filling. My friend ordered the ravioli capresi -- again, a winner. I ordered a caiparoska that had the perfect ratio of sweet-to-tart. Nice open dining area; sexy and fun. Great opener to to the start of your weekend.

Best New Addition to the area

I've been eating at this place since it first opened. I love it, my firends love it and I'm happy to have it here in the neighborhood. If you're sick of lunch at bottino and can't stomach another sandwhich from wichcraft, head over the Naima. They're lunch plates are well priced and are quite delicious. For dinner, ask the guys what's good. They're usually right. If you're lucky, the owners father from Sardenia will be there to cook for you. Enjoy
