I have never written a review on here but this place is really starting to bother me. I live around the corner and would love for this place to be good but it just seems like they don't care. The sandwiches are always sloppily put together, the service is not good at all, and the stuff they put in the display case is embarrassingly unappetizing. There was a piece of grayish meatloaf sitting there that did not look good. I have a hard time believing that the owner is involved and lets this go on.

The counter help is rude and impertinent. They think that because they read Harper's Magazine they are better than 99% of the population, but what they really need to do is quite and either go to graduate school OR get a job in their field! Give the job to some college kids who need it. But in the meantime, be nice. We don't care how smart you are or think you are. You're just low grade baristas! You don't even serving REAL coffee like 9th Street Espresso or Cafe Grumpy or Everyman. The food however is good. If you don't mind being talked down to, then this is the place for you. I come because there simply is nowhere around where you can get decent food. A great example of how the unacceptable has become acceptable.

The food at Naidre's is fantastic. the oatmeal is the best I've ever had. However, the counter help is abysmal.

I've been to Naidre's twice and both times I had very good, fresh food and fast service. The portions are generous and the prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. The menu is also extremely veggie friendly-- you can even substitute tofu for eggs in the breakfast dishes for no extra charge. I'd recommend the Hummus Wrap and the Breaskfast Burrito. The baked goods are also excellent. It's a great place to hang out for a while with some friends.
