I've ordered from this place times and the food has been consistently good every time. The black cod almost tastes like the one you get from Nobu, the fish is always fresh and the delivery fast. I hightly recommend this place for lunch!

I was strolling the neighborhood looking for a new eatery for lunch. They had an extensive lunch menu. One of their specials - 3 rolls Tuna, Salmon, Eel all with avacado with miso soup for $13. The rolls were large, fresh and tasty. You can't beat that. As I waited for my takeout order, the waitress asked me to sit at the bar and offered me a cup of green tea. I would definitely go back.

I thought slow service is 15-20 minutes of waiting but i was in for 35-40 minutes yesterday at lunch time. I should have taken everyone's warnings here more seriously. They had 1 waitress working who did everything slowly. The chefs were on time however; I saw lots of food waiting at the counter. This place was 2 blocks from my office and still I was late coming back. If it wasn't for the company I'd almost say I didn't have a good time.

Nagomi is just what Soho needs... wonderful sushi without a two hour wait and reasonable prices. My boyfriend and I have been coming here since it opened up and it has never disappointed us. The fish is so fresh and the rolls are delicious and innovative. They also have great appetizers like a seared tuna pizza and an amazing tofu salad. It is a neighborhood spot that has yet to be discovered to the public.... but I'll let the secret out and encourage those who wait an hour or more at blue ribbon around the corner to come and try it!

I am so pleased this place came to the nabe--other Japanese restaurants in the area are too pricey or too loud. This palce has a great lunch special, everything is delicious and well prepared. I love the broiled eel, and the sushi. Yes, service is slow, but it's within the realm of reason.. Worth the trip. and you won't go broke.

The food is delicious. The seared tuna is to die for. However the service is questionable. The food takes a long time to arrive, and when it does there's sometimes one persons meal missing. Once it arrives everyone else has finished their meal. One time we were alone in the restaurant and we waited 25 minutes for two simple rolls! However the price is fine, and the fish is fresh. Despite the service i go back every weekend!

Even though it was pretty small place but cozy and I really enjoyed the food so much. good value, friendly staff. everything was very reasonable. one of the best deals in japanese food.
