Good lad-nar
The new location is a step up & the food is still pretty good. The menu is limited, but I know what I like. All & all the place is pretty good.

Now I need something edible
We ate there once and the pad thai wasn't bad if I overlooked the heavy fish sauce for my taste. The Larb Salad wasn't too bad. I was happy to see summer rolls on the menu, but it was mostly romaine lettuce wrapped up. A few days later we decided to go for more thai, had the menu, so we ordered. The spicy wings were fried chicken wings.. .great... but the sauce was simply sweet and sour sauce with, you guessed it plenty of fish sauce, but we just payed and REALLY wanted the food to be good. We choked it down, faking some mmmm's. Then I open my container of Pad see ew, and the little bit of sweet and sour sauce from the wings was topped off with the rest of the bottle of fish sauce resembling soy sauce gravy only slightly in color... Not in taste. This was garbage at best. We will give this to a homeless person tomorrow, but it won't foster any good feelings. I worry that one bite will cause this culinary abortion to be passed around from one person more desperate than the next only to be repackaged like a greenish fruit cake. The crazy part is I have been homeless myself, off and on, for the past 6 months, and now, after countless cans of soup I will happily reach in the cupboard for yet another red and white label.

Frozen vegetables, not good Thai.
Not great, but fast delivery. They use frozen vegetables and canned mushrooms (the kind one puts on pizza). Why no fresh vegetables? And recently, they started putting rancid smelling white pepper in all of the dishes. I kept trying, but it seems to only get worse. Wish we could get good Thai in this hood.

The Owner is VERY RUDE
I had dealings with the owner and she was really rude to me, and when I asked her not to be rude, she told me that she didn't care if she was being rude, and proceeding to talk over me whenever I would try to talk. I will never go back there again!!

Consistently Good Food & Service!
We have been to Myrtle Thai seven or more times in the past six months and the quality of food and service have been good and consistent. The dishes are very plentiful, flavorful and spicy! The curries are as authentically delicious as one can expect in North America. The service is attentive and warm. We always wonder why the tables are not full.

poor experience
I ordered a vegetarian curry only to find a big hunk of chicken floating on top. I am highly sensitive to any meat and cannot eat it, but I was starving so I picked it out and dug in. .....only to find half way through another giant piece of chicken. Politely called them back to ask for something else instead. Was rudely dealt with. Manager yelling over me while I was trying to explain the situation. Denied another box of brown rice even though I paid extra for the first and only ate part of it after pouring the meat curry all over it. Currently waiting for my steamed vegetable switchout to be delivered. Don't think I'll trust to eat it though. Vegetarians beware.
