    These bad reviews are ridiculous.

Way above average for delivery Thai. It comes so quickly. They are nice. What's not to like?

    Consistently good

Always nice and friendly takeout. Food is great. Had to write a review to show how wrong other poor reviews were.

    Very good quality!

I am a first-time customer, and I am pleased with my experience! I just ordered take-out today; a wonton soup and a chicken pad thai. The soup was delicious and soothed my sore throat, and the pad thai was made beautifully. I ordered for delivery, so unfortunately, my rating for the atmosphere was estimated. However, the woman I spoke on the phone with was very polite and attentive, and the delivery service was quick. It was a wonderful break from all the usual college food I've been eating for weeks-- so I recommend this to anyone!

    WTF?

Looking over some of the reviews, I'm shocked. We LOVE this restaurant. The owners, who are often not there anymore were always very accommodating and very pleasant to our entire family....consistently. Perhaps some should be aware their fluency in English is limited, but rude is not how I would describe them at all. The service staff are very attentive other then occasionally needing to be told we were ready for the check (not so unusual in some places). As for the food, we love Thai food and have eaten in many of the Brooklyn hot-spots. We continue to return here as there is no significant difference quality-wise compared to other places we enjoy. Our biggest beef with regard to the food is the limited menu. There too, not so unusual with smaller Thai restaurants. They gotta be doing something right considering they've been able to open Fulton Thai which remains a success 2 -3 years later. To each pallet their own.

    An, unfortunately, bad review.

We ordered take-out: pad thai, satay, spring rolls, etc. Each dish and condiment was awful. The oil they used to cook in/with was clearly old. The satay chicken smelled rancid. Normally, I'm not one to come online and vent, but that's not what this is. I wouldn't be surprised if they made some folks ill. We had a few bites, then just junked it. Too bad, as there's not many Thai places that deliver near us. As a PS, I will say that I am a waiter, and I would not slur a place out of anger. I just came to post this because I think they are cooking with old food/oil, and that is a dangerous practice.

    Great delivery

Very quick delivery. The items on the menu may be hit or miss, but the Massaman curry and spring rolls are consistently good.

    Disappointing meal

I started eating this order with spring rolls and they were light and delicious. I was excited to dig in to my pad see-ew. When I did however, I was disgusted to find it oily, the chicken was rubbery, and it tasted of mostly garlic. I thought they must have sent the wrong dish, so I called. The first person I talked to was pleasant, but then mama bear got on. They were standing in the kitchen, asking the cooks what they made. Pad see-ew should be dark and slightly sweet. She thought I was confused about what dish I ordered, but I know my Thai food! She interrupted me, talked over me, and besides that, when I listed the ingredients of the dish they sent, she told me that it's their Pad see-ew. So, my suggestion, if you like Pad see-ew, is not to order it from Myrtle Thai. If she would have been even just a little nicer about my disappointment, offered me a small credit for next time (I wasn't trying to get them to come fix it, I just didn't want to pay for the wrong dish). Turned out it wasn't the wrong dish at all, just a really poor recipe for the one I did. Gross. I had to order green curry too so that I could pay with my credit card (understandable) and figured it would be lunch for tomorrow. Now it's going to be a $20 dinner. I'm assuming the curry is fine - it's pretty hard to screw up and it smells good. Never again though, just because of that lady and her not-niceness.
