The tortillas for the soft tacos were soggy and very thick, and they were not good at all.. While the fillings were somewhat tasty, they were not spectacular in anyway. I would not order the tacos again, ever! While we did not try anything else yet, I am not sure we would try again. I am kind of scratching my head at the other reviews. I guess it is all so subjective.

Yes, they have pancakes but they have a breakfast burritto, huevos rancheros and other such items. Why write such a narrow unhelpful review?

I live in the neighborhood and have to stay when this place opened I was onboard. Loved it and I keep going back to get letdown. Thtas basically it, the food is slightly overpriced but very good, I will admit that. But when you get a $10 margarita and its all mix and salt, that is a problem. For the money you are going to pay between food and drinks going out, I dont mind doing it but make me taste the Patron Silver. If you look at your CC statement when you get your bill, it comes up "Vinyl" the old establishment that occupied the space, so that means one thing, they went with a new theme which was good, love the mexican, but still trying to make any dime they can on alcohol and by seriving as little alcohol as they can in a mixed drink. Either step it up or your customers are going to step out. You are better off getting beer there because they have to pour you a full glass. I hate restaurants that skimp out and try to bleed you in a bill of $100 of margaritas only to want to leave and go to the liquor store next store to get Tequila Nips to fulfill your margaritas for the night. Maybe they should let you bring your own, you would be way better off. Lets try to do the right thing by your customers because the way you handle your bar, the pours to your clients and buybacks are not good. Learn what it takes to keep a customer.

$10 granola and buttermilk pancakes for brunch at a Mexcian restaurant? If we wanted that, we'd have gone to Willie's. Where's the Mexican food?

Ate at the bar. Waiter served me the wrong dish (belonged to the gent next to me). Since I began eating his burritos they comped it. Great salsa!! Had the enchilada w/ mole sauce and it was delish! My gf had the steak fajitas which were also very good. $90 with a few cocktails wasn't cheap but wasn't too exp. Recommended.

I went there a few weeks ago with a group and it was absolutely fantastic! I wanted to bring family members back, so we went on Saturday night at 7:30. For a table of six, the hostess said it would be about 30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, we went back to see how much longer and she informed us that it would be another hour. After asking her why she didn't tell us that to begin with, she was rude and said that, "people stay longer." We asked to speak to the owner and he said there was nothing he could do for us. We found a different restaurant that would be able to accommodate us and when we said we would be leaving, the hostess questioned us to why we would want to leave after waiting already. - They did not have a table in the near future for us. I would not return again with a large party. The hostess and the owner were clearly unable to figure out wait times for customers.

My husband and I decided to take our 4mth old out to dinner with us, which can pretty risky. But MXco was wonderfully accomodating. We went at 5:30 on a Friday night and had our pick of tables, the wait staff could not have been nicer, and the food was fabulous!! The portions are normal, not huge, but normal. And the flavor of everything was FANTASTIC! I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about when they write about this place being subpar...we absolutely loved everything. And if they thought the prices were too high, then stay home and make your own dinner. This is worth every penny!
