A great find
I found Murray's by chance on the web. After reading the reviews I had to go. I found it all to be true. Murray is definitely a cool guy and in my book, wins the undisputed heavy weight title for the best falafel meister in New York.

Best Shawafel in town
Murray's by far is the best Falafel and Shwarma joint in NYC. Service is fast, fresh and always with a smile. Try this place once and you'll always come back.

Who needs falafel when you can have soup
I've been to Murray's a number of times in the past few weeks ever since I moved to the neighborhood, and I cannot be happier to have this place as a neighbor. Their chicken soup is better than my mom's, and it's served with outstanding warm pita. The staff, while always busy, is friendly and apologetic about the somewhat frequent delays. Everything I've tasted at this place has been great...try it all!!

Fallafel king!
I've eaten at a LOT of fallafel places, and I never thought there was much difference between them. Murray's IS different! Fresh, hot, and flavorful definitely makes a BETTER fallafel! Not much seating, so don't come with a large party. You will enjoy though!

Best Falafel in North America!
I have been to 2000 falafel joints in North America, conducting a massive falafel taste-test. Winner: Murray's. End of story.

Best Falafel in Town....Period!
I think my title says it all. Forget Mamouns or Rainbow, this is definitely the best falafel on the island. Also, all of the other dishes are great. Salads are amazing. Best of all Murray is a great guy. I went in last week to get some falafel but they were in the middle of closing. Instead of letting me leave empty handed Murray gave a bag of falafel balls and sauces for free. Amazing place. Cannot say enough good things about it.

Amazing Falafel (and other things)!
I haven't had better falafel anywhere and it's not just the falafel that's good here. I haven't been disappointed by anything I've had here. The salads are so fresh and everything is just so good. If you live around the neighborhood it is a must try! By the way, I can't think of a better way for a student on a limited budget to eat good healthy food at a good price. I just get the baba and humous by the pound with a couple of pitas and end up with tasty healthy lunches for days.
