    Can't complain, excellent bagels!

I order breakfast for my office almost daily. The employees are always very polite, even when they are extremely busy. I rarely, if ever, have a problem with my orders. And who can resist one of their bagels?!?

    Just plain bad

Just moved to Chelsea and was in the market for a new bagel place. I've tried murrays twice now and both times I've experienced unbelievably poor service. The staff is rude. They get your order wrong and then roll their eyes and make a scene when you ask them to correct it. The bagel was just ok considering how much they overcharge for them. I won't be going back

    not worth it

Delivery here is really random - the manage to get things wrong in odd ways, and are totally confused/ don't apologize when you call to ask for a replacement. It's like they just throw whatever is in front of them into the bag for delivery and hope that the customer is ok with it. The staff are ok in person, although I do find it obnoxious when the cashier jingles the tip cup when handing your change back (really?!). Also, the cashier girl can be quite confused at times. Food is pretty good, but I don't think worth it (especially considering the prices!). I have heard that there are better bagel places in the area.

    Always nice

It's Friday at 5PM. I just ordered a bagel for delivery. It arrived in 15 minutes, the oder was correct, and the delivery man was very nice. As far as the prices going up I went in and ordered my usual here 2 weeks ago. Before I paid the woman at the register told me the price went up 23 cents. Nice of her to say so. Paid, ate, happy. I have always found the service there to be nice. But then again, I'm nice too.

    poor experience

thought i'd pop in for a great bagel from murrays and it did not turn out well. my orange juice was leaking, the woman making my bagel didn't understand english and i had to repeat my request (creamcheese on the side please!) at least 10 times- with hand gestures.

    Not the best Murray's

Ok Ok, yes Murrays is one of the greatest bagel shops in NYC. Their Bagels are nearly perfect in every way and I swear they put something in the Tuna to make it so delicious. But bagel enthusiasts be advised!!! ... they literally have the most obnoxious and irritated employees I have ever had to deal with. On multiple occasions I have been completely ignored (while on line), or when they do take the order they forget to even make it. They have about 6 people behind the counter at all times and all of them are completely incompitent at being polite or dealing with customers/orders etc.... Solution - go to the one on 6th and 13th street instead. They are much nicer.
