Good ol' comfort food served by friendly staff
On nights when I'm exhausted after work or mornings when I'm looking for a Harry breakfast I always go to this dinner. I've tried many others in the area but this is by far my favorite. One of the major reasons is do to the people working there. They are always very accommodating and kind from the manager to the delivery man. It has a an unpretentious ambiance, and good food that fills one up for the day. The cost can't be beat either. Try the grilled cheese varieties. Yum!

Best breakfast diner
We spent a couple days in NYC both to & from Florida on our annual holiday. Our children (7 & 9) loved the diner & insisted that we always our breakfast there when in NY. The waitrons were very professional & the service was quick. What a nice way to kick start the day in a city that never sleeps! We will certainly be back & will not hesitate to tell our friends too!

Best Waffles in Town
Each time we go to NYC to visit our son and his wife we stop to have breakfast at Murray Hill Diner. The staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful. Wonderful waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream. We continue to go back!

Never again!
I've ordered food from this Diner before but never have I been so disappointed. First time ordered a Ruben Sand., it took them an hour to deliver it three blocks away! When I got it, the bread was soggy, like a sponge that absorbs water. Not to mention it wasn't a "sandwich" at all, it was corned beef w/ melted cheese and sauerkraut open faced (no wonder the bread was wet). I work in an office so I couldn't even take a bite of it without a fork and a knife. Needless to say, by the time I got to it, it was already cold and sad. This mish-mush of a sandwich was accompanied by a tasteless, bland "potato salad". All that topped with a very good pickle. So, for $11, that was some really expansive half a pickle! (it wasn't even a full pickle) Perhaps people who go there to sit and eat get it better, but if you're in an office trying to get some work done and take a quick lunch break, get a sandwich somewhere else, one that you can hold and bite...unless you want a corned beef hash.

We were over in NYC, in February this year from Manchester England and had most of our meals at this diner, and we can honestly say we did not have bad meal there. The staff were very helpfull and the prices were very good and we would recommend it to anyone from England traveling to NYC keep up the good work and thanks for great time.
