Poor service
Was sadly disappointed in this bar. Had heard good things, but the service was terrible and the bartender was rude to us. Plenty of other bars in the area to spend you money at.

Best stop in Manhattan
Been going there for over 15 years ..... A trip to New York wouldn't be complete w/out a visit. The best staff !!!

Disappointed
I went to murphy's pub and was sadly disappointed. the wait staff ignored us for most of the night. the food was alright, but the atmosphere was lacking.

Consistently great...
I've been going to Murphy's for about 6 months now. It's consistently great food (especially the corned beef and cabbage and the burgers), the nicest staff in NYC, and always a great value. Plus a nice haven in an ocean of crowded fraternity bars...

great neighborhood bar!
Absolutely fabulous fish 'n chips and burgers - staff is great! "you only walk in once a stranger" couldn't be more true - everyone greets you by name the second visit! super friendly, reasonable prices (esp. for NYC!) fun, fun place to hang out.
