Mura is my favorite restaurant in the Slope. Their food is nothing life changing (except for the tofu teriyaki, which is amazing! In fact, stop reading this and go order that now), however, it is consistently tasty, and this place is perfect for any occasion. Dinners, dates, a quick lunch, delivery - I will take any excuse to eat their food. The service is also excellent. The staff are friendly, polite, and attentive, and I like knowing my order is in good hands when I call in for delivery The best thing about Mura, however, is their lunch special, which is not only a full on feast, but exceptionally cheap as well. Other lunch bentos cower when faced with the awesomeness that is Mura's lunch bento. Forget "soup or salad?" lunch specials. This place gives you both, plus a whole lot more! And that's only part of why I eat here at least three times a week.

The service here is always very friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. The sushi (I usually get the tuna or salmon rolls but have tried some of the "chef's specials" as well) is consistently fresh and yummy. Their lunch special is a steal. A great Japanese food find in the Slope!

We have dinner at Mura at least once a week.The presentation is very nice, the sushi rolls even though a little on the small side are very fresh and delicious, the crab cake is fantastic, the green tea is authentic and the staff is always very charming. Overall a good deal.

I have been going here once a year for the past couple of years (except when they were closed because of a fire). It's the best. Their white tuna sashimi is always like biting perfection. Always the freshest fish. Clean. Staff so nice. Love this place!

Best Sushi in Park Slope...coupled w/ quick attentive service in a lovely dining room. Ask to sit outside in the summer...what a treat :) The Sushi is so tasty and fresh and reasonable...No Need to go to Blue Ribbon ~ Mura is the better choice and so much cheaper and tastier.

After ordering Mura at least one a week for the past year, I think it's time to write the positive review they deserve! The fish is fresh, cooked dishes delicious and the service is always friendly and fast. I recommend Mura to anyone moving to the area as the best sushi place around.
