The best wings in town
I began going to Mudville after meetings in City Hall. I started with the burgers, then graduated to the wings. The wing all-you-can-eat specials motivated me to bring in my whole office from the DOL there. Once a month we would meet there and have the special. It brought our office together on a positive note. As a matter of fact, I fell in love with my wife there and we have been married for over a year. When we get the hankering for a nostalgic night on the town, we go to our first place together, Mudville. The manager has always accomodated us even with no reservations. Office Christmas parties were imcomplete without 50 dollars worth on wings. We also have a menu from Mudville next to our wedding picture. Wings with alot of love are on the menu at Mudville. see ya there.

Amazing burgers and salads
The cooked to order burgers are so big that you must cut them with a knife.Tasty, all beef and no fillers. You can tell! The Cobb, Caesar and Greek salads are to die for. Upscale restaurant quality at reasonable prices. Iceberg lettuce is unheard of here! Great efficient staff as well. Surprisingly great experience!

Plenty of joy in mudville!
Locals and tourists co-mingle here over sports, wings, beer and cheer...and if you're lucky enough to meet rita, you'll never feel quite right with any other bartender, anywhere! Especially recommended for out-of-towners numb from visiting ground zero. These folks lived through it and they're ok. It's alright to live it up! Cheers!

Good service but poor wings
If your idea of a good time is hanging out with fat frat boys from New Jersey and eating salty rubbery chicken then eat here. I did not enjoy the wings at all. They make a good house salad. Generous portion for the price. The service was very good. Friendly, courteous waitress/bartender. Service great, food not so great!

Pretty solid
I read a review that said the wings are terrible-- not true, although there has been a handful of subpar days. Normally the wings are solid. Fries and burgers are very good-- typical bar food for a reasonable price. For chicken strips, I prefer popey's up the street. But really, there is no other place that has better wings in Tribeca.

Good for takeout, wings are horrible
I've eaten a lot of buffalo wings in my day, and I love them. I'd almost consider myself a connieusseur. Mudville 9 does not have good buffalo wings. I read these reviews and ordered a bunch only to find the chicken inedible and the sauce too thin. Stick with burgers, or the buffalo chicken sandwich; stay away from the wings. Otherwise, it's fairly priced American food in an area where that can be hard to find.

Well worth it!
Wings were top notch...Would have rated the food as a five but they were a bit chintzy on the blue cheese. One little cup was not enough for 10 wings. Mudville has achieved wing greatness. Take service was fast and efficent. Ask for extra napkins, you'll need 'em.
