Food was nothing special. Was pretty average. Service wasn't so great. Regretted going there. Won't go back.

If you need to relax and feel at ease with the world after a fraught day at the office or home or following an action packed day of sightseeing , then look no further - Mr. K's the place for you. Offering an oasis of peace and tranquillity, tastefully furnished to a neo art deco theme using lots of natural wood, it surely cannot be bettered in NYC for comfortable seating and spaciousness. Throw into the equation good chinese food and impeccable oriental based service and the outcome is a winner. We found this restaurant towards the end of a holiday in NYC in 2006 and made sure revisit twice during our 2007 vacation.

Beautiful place where one can impress dates or if things go will enough even in a "meet the parents" scenario. Superb American-Chinese food in top notch digs, I believe that the pre-fixe is overpriced and would recommend trying a few different dishes, mush better then Mr.Chows (which has fallen off big time) and Shun Lee.

Everyone needs to try this place. It is worth every penny. You will never eat chinese anywhere else again!

Mr. K's is by far the best chinese food. The service is prompt and the decor was fitting to the settings. The food came quick and was better than expected. I would gladly go back and eat there anyday!

Not only is Mr. K's my favorite Chinese restaurant in Manhattan, the combination of jaw-droppingly tasty food and exquisite service vault it into my top ten across all cusines. The sesame beef is heavenly. I normally hate lo-mein, but I always order it at K's, they've perfected it. The hot and sour soup was a bit disappointing, but everything else I've tried on their menu is top notch. Warning: not for the penny pincher, but if you crave quality chinese this is your place.

I recently went to this restaurant, and was totally DISAPPOINTED. Being a native NYer and more specifically I'm from Brooklyn, there are literally 4-5 Chinese restaurants within a 10 block radius in just about any Brooklyn neighborhood. Keeping this in mind, I was totally flabbergasted by the astronomical prices of some very basic meals... I understand that you're also paying for the decor, service etc. but the mark up was just unreal. However, the service was notable.
