I hadn't been to Mr. Biggs for years and years, because it was terrible back in the day when I was traumatized by their food. But we were jonesing for burgers and onion rings, and it's literally across the street from our building, so we decided to give it another shot. They remodeled a few months ago so we figured good things could be happening there now. Boy were we wrong! The food is possibly worse than it was before. The burgers were overcooked, small, and tasteless, the onion rings were limp and unappetizing, and the fries were bland. The mozzarella sticks tasted like cardboard. And the atmosphere is cramped and oppressive. It's really little more than a dressed up drunk bar trying to market itself as a destination. I can only assume it stays in business because of tourists who stop in on the way to and from the Intrepid or partaking in activities along the Hudson River. We won't be back -- ever! And we live across the street! Save yourself a terrible experience and just keep walking.

I just moved into the neighborhood and met some friends at this cool corner spot. I had no idea they had karaoke on the weekend and trivia on Thursdays. My friends and I came for the happy hour which turns out is half price drinks and half price appetizers from 5-7 m thru Friday and we caught the happy hour Friday right after work. The service was awesome and the bartenders were attentive and really funny. At the end of happy hour I asked for the check I was shocked how little we spent and how much fun we had . We are definitely coming back next Friday, love mr Biggs For sure.......

I ordered a BBQ burger from them last week and I changed the order a bit and it was not a problem. Today I picked up a BBQ burger with some exceptions to go and when I got home it wasn't like I ordered. I called up and asked them to bring me what I ordered and they told me in a sarcastic tone that that's not how they serve it. Then gave me a hard time about sending me a new burger. I work in the food industry too and the customer is always right but I guess that's not the motto the employees go by at Mr.Biggs

Ordered for delivery a medium burger. When it arrive3d it was just warm tartare. Took it back-they refused to admit it was wrong. Will never eat there again. Ugh! Would not even give 0.5 rating if it weren't required. More like -o.0oo

Went here on Tue night 4/26/11 with a buddy to grab burgers and a few beers. nothing going on inside, place was basically empty, and we ended up sitting outside. we split plate of wings, each had a burger, and 7 bud light drafts between the 2 of us. food was decent, service OK, nothing special. final bill? $80!!! this joke of a place charged us $6.25 for EACH bud draft. i asked the waiter if this was a typo - he confirmed it was the correct price. now i know why this place is always empty. How in the world can MR Biggs charge or justify $6.25 for a bud light draft? I will never go back here - way too many good bars on 9th and 10th to ever bring my business to this place ever again.

It seems Mr. Biggs no longer cares. The food & service has really went out the door over the years. Tonight I placed an order. Over an hour later I received a cheeseburger that obviously sat on the counter inside Mr. Biggs for an entire hour before being delivered. It was cold, soggy, wet and disgusting. The onion rings were undercooked and in eatable. Biggs sealed the deal tonight. I'll never order from there ever again. I hope that someone opens up a quality establishment there when they go out of business.

Placed an order for delivery a Mr. Biggs burger medium no cheese. What I got was very rare. I call the restaurant and the voice on the other ends basically laughs at me and says the cook doesn't know how to cook a burger medium. Really?
