Had the ouzie which was phenomenal. Packed with fresh ingredients, combination of chicken, spices, and flavor packed vegetables make for an explosion of taste in your mouth. Also suggest the hummus and pita, extremely flavorful with fresh baked warm pita bread that was the best I've had anywhere. We topped off our meal with homemade yogurt and fresh fruits that made for a tasty and healthy ending to a great meal. I would definately go back and suggest this restaurant to friends and family. Great place for a date, very cozy atmosphere. We did not have the pizza but look forward to trying it during our soon to be next visit

The third time I've been recently, only this time I ordered dessert. Well, it was the best damn baklava I've ever had! As always, the food was very good and friends were impressed. They were getting busy, but we weren't rushed out. Not as "slow" as some other times or as the T-shirts indicate.

The food is still pretty good. But beware when ordering in. They always say it takes 30 minutes, but it usually takes more like an hour. Which makes the pretty good food a little stale. Like another reviewer said, us locals are going starting to go elsewhere.

Went here last night for dinner- friends waited about 30 mins for a table but the food was excellent and fresh. The music was great also...favorite dishes were - lamb, veggie pitza and lamb pitza. Was not a big fan of chicken kebab platter or falafels - they were both passible though.

I'd say the reason you see fewer locals here is the wait and service- the latter went really downhill at some stage. The pitas are still super good, but I wouldn't wait an hour to have your group be treated like cattle for it- there are a million places to eat that are as good nearby.

Been going there for office lunch for about the last 4 years, always a favorite with us. Food is excellent, have to remember cash ONLY. You must have the hummous, pita, ouzi, chicken kebab plate, chicken salad..... oh yes and the mint tea ! Only strange bit somehow the atmosphere has changed, it seems like only tourists frequent this very foine W.Village eatery now where have all the regulars gone?
