7 Slice rating form PizaSnobo: The D.O.C. margherita pies ($14 for 12 inches) have balls of rich, smooth bufala cheese that burst with flavor and may be the best part of the pie. Or is it the fresh light sauce with just the right amount of tartness that we love so much, even as we wish for more of it? Or maybe it is the fantastic, puffy dough; soft chewy and charred to perfection with just a little bit of crunch that is the best part? Take your pick. This pizza comes together so well there is no denying that Motorino is one of the best on planet Earth. Even if it can be a little oily, it’s the kind of oil we’re happy to dip our bread into. There are plenty of specialty pies – such as the Pugliese with broccoli, sausage and garlic – though the choices are not overwhelming, which is another refreshing plus for this fantastic restaurant.

while the pizza here is great a few times when i've ordered delivery i've been nothing but frustrated. one time my food didn't come for an hour and when i called to ask why they claimed the person came to deliver my food and i wasn't home (which is totally not true). after apologizing for their error, they said they would send another pie out immediately. 45 minutes later my cold pizza showed up. another time when i called the girl on the phone kept switching over to other calls and forgetting who was held on each line. eventually she switched back to me, said hello, didn't hear my response and then hung up on me. the line was then busy for 15 minutes after that. but the pizza is great so eat at the restaurant.

Yes, I absolutely love this pizza, don't get me wrong. But to say that Johnson Avenue is out of your range when you are slammed is ridiculous. We could walk there in 10 minutes. We didn't feel like experiencing the atmosphere tonight, so forget our dollars. If you are making money and have 11 deliveries, you should make more money by going "3 blocks south of range". This is a building with 40 units, you could make so much money if you would go 1 minute on a bike out of your range. Well Motorino, I would rather walk 10 more minutes to Acqua Santa than get denied delivery from you. Their pizza is better anyway. Lots of love, Italian Pizza Lover

This is our favorite pizza. They import everything and the crust is thin, crisp, and chewy all at the same time. If they would start delivering to Broadway at Bedford, we'd order A LOT of pizza. BTW, we've had great service at the restaurant, but I am rating Service a 3 because we can't get delivery.

If you are a pizza restaurant you should know how to properly cook a pizza. I ordered a pie for delivery and it came soggy and undercooked. For 16 dollars I shouldn't have to cook the pizza in my oven to finish their job. I didnt realize Motorino was a branch of mom's bake at home pizza.

I can't quite figure out why there's always a line here. Sure, I like the complimentary olives as a starter, the service and space are lovely, and the pizza is good (nice wood-fired crust). But it's seriously overpriced for what you get. My vote is to save half of your bill and go somewhere else for a tastier pie.
