the brussel sprout pizza is amazing! i know what your thinking... REALLY? and yes!! yes really!! its so good! the dough is delish, the flavors are devine and the texture is just right! seriously, if you go, YOU MUST TRY IT!! yeah it's a bit pricey but i loved the atmosphere and the service is really great! i highly reccommend this place if your looking for something a little different from your average corner pizza place.....

Not Una, but a very admirable substitute

Don't believe the nay-sayers. This is clearly not Una Pizza Napoletana, but Motorino provides a respectable stand-in. Their remake of Anthony Mangieri's Filetti pizza (with cherry tomatoes) is a very close approximation and it's nice to see them deviate from his strict regimen of ingredients. Their octopus special was also fantastic. Go! For any pizza-file, it's well worth the trip.

    bring back Una

I've heard good things about Motorino and wanted to try it for myself. I've had Una which is the best pizza ever. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and another 20 for our pizza. We got there at the open and it got crowded fast. The annoying part was after waiting 1/2 hr, we glanced over at the oven and NO PIZZAs were in the oven. The cherry heirloom + broccolini appetizers were ok. The pizza was ok. I wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon.

it's what you put in the oven that counts

the margherita pizza was doughy with a banal taste and overpriced at $14 and altho the sliced "heirloom" tomato appetizer was overpriced at $12. However the staff was friendly & pretty efficient asking for feedback of the appetizer but not of the pizza! With so many good pizza places in Manhattan would not return here.
