Best Indian Lunch I've Ever Had
The lunch special is both amazingly delicious and also a great deal. It comes in vegetarian and non-vegetarian -- I had the non-veg and the meats were fantastic and the lunch too big for me to finish. My only complaint is that they would not let me take the leftovers home! I've never been to a restaurant that refused this before. It's true there are a lot of small dishes, but still.

Poor food delivery service
I placed my order at 7:30pm and was told it would be delivered in '15-20 minutes.' It is now 9:15pm and there's no sign of the food. Despite great food, the service is disappointing.

Fantastic Indian Food
Just discovered this new Indian Restaurant in our neighborhood. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice, although dark and a little dirty around the edges. But the food was fantastic. Excellent Tandoori chicken, wonderful Eggplant, awesome Dal Makhani (black lentils). I think we just found our new favorite Indian restaurant in NYC! Can't wait to go back.

Nice Place & Tasty
Came here on a whim with my mom for dinner. The staff and service was great. A bit pricey, but food was good.

This is the real deal!
5 stars all the way- atmosphere was perfect, decor was classy, service was excellent and the food was lipsmackin good! Butter chicken which I really havent had anywhere else outside of India, was perfect. These guys seem to get it right, and with due respect, they do own 100 restaurants worldwide. They know their stuff. Crab butter garlic was my other favourite, with roomali khasta, a really innovative appetizer. Black daal and some garlic naan later, I was super happy!

Indian food done right
Moti Mahal is a landmark in Delhi's culinary history which boasts of inventing Tandoori Chicken and Butter Chicken. A few days ago a friend of mine informed me that a Moti Mahal was opening in the city and I was there the next day which also happened to be opening day for them. Personally, I think it was the best butter chicken and daal makhni I have had outside of India. Chicken Tikka Masala does not count as butter chicken. It would be an injustice to leave this place without also trying the mutton tikka and tandoori chicken. Hopefully they will open another location a little further downtown!
