I know its a chain but its a GREAT addition to the 'hood
My friends and I frequent the happy hour, usually the late night one. $6 for three mini burgers and $6 drinks makes for a pretty darn good $20 evening, especially around these parts. Great place to catch a game. The staff is always nice and usually very accomodating. I recently ate in the main dining room for a family event. We all had the $60 pp special that is being advertised and it was. . .and I hesitate to use the term. . .phenomenal. Yes, by the time all is said and done you are at $100+ pp easily. . .the drinks are overpriced but big and strong. . .the service may lack some refinement but is off the charts good compared to some other steakhouses. All in all, the place is a great addition to downtown Bklyn and vastly superior to some other well known steakhouses. (No, not dissing Lugers. . .that place is great as well).

The best real Steakhouse in Nyc
I've been in this restaurant about five times. Everytime I go it gets better, yes its expensive but well worth it if you want to have a true dinning experience. When I go in this place the staff always treats me like a VP . I'm from Brooklyn and it's great to have a place like this ,its perfect for special occasions . Unlike most places they never add the tip to your check but I always leave 20% and they appreciate it very much.

Mmmmm... Wanting more!
I recently dined at Mortons with my boyfriend for his birthday. It was a great experience! They had personalized menus with his name on it. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The verbal menu was a little long. But when our steaks arrived they were mouth watering... Delicious!Big portions! The ice cream sundae was enormous and heavenly!! Yum! The night ended with a picture of the two of us. A nice sentiment to remember such a fantastic evening! I will be back... :)

La service, c'est mal
Well, I've been here at their lounge four times. The food was passable, if overpriced--for a decent lunch, you'd need only an app and their giant loaf of decent bread. Their coffee is foul. As of the last time there, the lounge waiter poured it and disappeared, never to return. I waited for SOMEONE to ask me for my order. The manager walked by me three times. Waited some more. Not even an offer of a refill. No attention whatsoever--caught sight of my waiter just chatting with some other suit.

Not worth it
There food is quite good, but quite good doesn't cut it when you're charging what they're charging. There's about five levels in between "quite good" and "exquisite", and I expect a restaurant for $200+ for two people to eat without buying wine, to be incredible. this aint that. Like I said it's very good, and a total ripoff at that level.

This is not Morton's as I know it
What happened? I am a steakhouse person and they need to tighten this place up. It was loud, boisterous and not very welcoming. The wait staff was not what I would hope for or at least have come to expect. The meal took a long time to arrive, they didn't ask me how it was, the staff and entire atomosphere was just a little too rough around the edges. Save your pennies. If you want a good steak and can't venture across the river, go to Lugar's.
