Outstanding Breakfast
I found Morning Star to be a refreshing change. Excellent omlet, pleasant staff, good value. So good, that I returned the next day!!

Delivery? Not so much.
I live only six short blocks away and on the same avenue and was told that I live too far for delivery. Not sure what the point of having delivery service is if you have to live across the street to get it!

Classic Diner
Went here for dinner on a cold night and received excellent service (refilled my coffee 3 times and was not impatient). Great entertainment in the form of people-watching a busy intersection and would highly recommend this place to experience the "New York Diner." Great for single or casual dining.

Must Eat
I recently visited Manhattan for a school spring term. I ate at the Morning star my first day there and constantly found myself back. The staff is WONDERFUL. I cannot tell you how many times they gave us tips on where to go to shop or what to see. Eating at the morning star was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I will GLADLY go back on my next visit. Definitely worth the money, breakfast is amazing. If you like OJ, be sure to get it.

I disagree . . .
We went in around 9pm and it was ridiculously empty so of course service was quick. The dinner wasn't great, but I would really say worth $10 for the amount served. It was quiet, but we were seating far from a window and at least had a nice view of the seats near the windows. The rest of the trip we went had more expensive delivered in.

Not the best value...
We went in around 9am and it was ridiculously crowded so of course service slumped a bit. The breakfast was good, but I wouldn't really say worth $10 for the amount served. It was noisy, but we were seating by a window and at least had a nice view. The rest of the trip we went had cheaper breakfasts on the go.

I loved it!
We were staying in the Hotel Inn down the road (also recommended) so this was one of our nearest breakfast joints and I loved it! We went back almost every morning and had something different each day. It was all great and real value for money and the staff were so lovely. We will definitely go back on our next visit.
